Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5 We doubt there will be many FPL fans left now then, such was the excitement and intrigue of the new ‘Nations League’, or whatever it is called. 16 groups of teams, some in groups of 4, some in 3, some can get promoted, some can get relegated, some can get into the Euros but only if they haven’t already and if they have then someone else can instead, who did worse. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah… Just in case anyone is indeed still interested then… FPL IS BACK! Thank goodness. Saturday will see the majority of our FPL interest hit the field. ‘Super Sunday’ looks like it’s having a breather and is followed closely by its cousin ‘Mundane Monday’… Spurs and Liverpool get us underway at l...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3 A lunch time kick-off gets us going this week when Wolves or as City likes to call promoted teams, dinner, face off. That is followed by four 3pm games. Arsenal and West Ham tangle in a battle to save face, that is accompanied by the two worst teams in the Premier League matching up when Huddersfield welcomes Cardiff, about the only team the Terriers will feel like they can take any points off. World Cup 3rd Group Phase Live Match Chat

World Cup 3rd Group Phase Live Match Chat Welcome to World Cup 3rd Group Phase Live Match Chat. Forewarned is forearmed and all that…. We’ve posted this particular LMC a bit earlier than normal but that’s simply because of the points we are about to come onto really and their implications for your teams. This is where it starts to get a bit tricky as some teams have already qualified and others are still fighting tooth and nail to do so. Rest and rotation will occur naturally at this point for those who have but perhaps that may also depend on whether they are secure in 1st spot or wish to avoid a more tricky route by finishing there as opposed to 2nd. Either way it’s probably not the best round to be deploying that Bench Boost chip as getting 11 on the pitch may be...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 38

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 38 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Gameweek 38. That’s your lot folks! Well, it will be in about 3 hours anyway… GW38 always seems so brutal. We are used to game-weeks spanning 3-4 days, sometimes even 6 or 7. And then when it really comes down to the final reckoning we are all lined up in front of the FPL firing squad and shot at for 90 short minutes as if we’d just been caught in Malaysia with a gram or two in our back pockets. And it’s a bit of an odd one to call as nearly all matters are sorted, barring a couple of highly unlikely goal difference swings. And we are talking huge ones here – a Liverpool draw and a Chelsea 16-0 win. And a Saints loss, a Swansea win and a 10 goal swing. The Saints do however fac...[Read More]

And just for housekeeping purposes you need to be on the ball a bit after that as GW38 begins less than two and a half days later on Sunday afternoon. ‘Live Match Chat’ won’t go all the way through to Thursday though, we shall be interrupting it on about Monday with the first of our usual flow of articles to get you ready for that final day push. GW37 begins with the first of two games for both Brighton and Man United on Friday night. Saturday then takes it’s usu...[Read More]

Back to normality this week – 10 fixtures spread over three days, everyone plays just the once, no doubles, no blanks, probably a few wildcards. Five 3pm kick offs and it’s all about the relegation battle as Brighton go to Burnley, Palace host Leicester, Huddersfield welcome Everton, West Brom travel to Newcastle and Bournemouth can inflict further trouble on fellow south coasters Southampton. The evening sees Swansea looking for a much needed three points as Chelsea come to town. Sunday is Manc today. First u...[Read More]
