Euro 2016 Fantasy Football Live Match Chat – The Knockout Phase
Just as the UK votes on a possible Brexit, the group stages at Euro 2016 have been completed with some unfortunates already on their way home, while all the Home Nations secured to Remain for a while longer as England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland all qualified for the round of 16. You will notice a few changes to the fantasy game, so please allow us to run you through them so you are fully up-to-speed.
Price changes – some players price has increased, but only by a minimal amount it would appear. For example Dimitri Payet’s price has risen from 8.0mln to 8.1mln!! So, nothing to get too worried about.
As a result, your budget has increased by 5mln to 105mln, which not only reflects the price changes but also the fact that most of the smaller teams and cheaper players are no longer available due to them being knocked out, hence there are less budget options available.
Transfers – for this round you have an unlimited amount of transfers. For the quarter-finals you will have 4 free transfers, for the semi-finals you will have 6 free transfers and for the final you will have 6 free transfers.
Team personnel – you can now select four players from a single team for the round of 16, followed by five players for the quarter-finals, six for the semi-finals and eight for the final.

Evening Gents! Finally (slightly) coming down of the high of the Republic beating the Italians & qualifying two days ago, we wouldn’t have it any other way…
Quick question regarding the WC, for the 1/4 finals seems the best time to use it, go all out this GW with no future worries and then WC when the picture becomes clearer? What are others with their WC planning?
That’s my plan. Depends on how the team / squad looks once this round is done of course but basically I’m not looking at knock out variables with the cushion of that, just picking for this round only. If I need it then it’s there. If I don’t as it happens then it’ll probably go to waste as I doubt I will for the semis or final although I do remember a couple of occasions wishing I had it for the final after betting wrong on the semis. Think it may have been the last Euros when I was actually in with a chance of winning the whole thing and I went the wrong teams in the semis and ended up with less than 11 in the final. Came 15th in the end as a result. Make of that what you will!

Evening Hammers. That’s an excellent looking squad. Nice 11 and good bench to cover if needed. Check on Juanfran tomorrow and expected line-ups. I have him too but saw a couple of line-ups suggesting he was at risk. Don’t think he is myself but it’s worth checking.

I’m watching Croatia-Spain!! Breaking down these croats style of play for tomorrow. They’re good, but their not that good! Perisic’s pace however will be a headache, especially with Vieirinha as RB, but hey, they have corluka so it shouldn’t really be that difficult to score a few past them!
Will Modric be back? They looked pretty awesome against the Turks and Czech’s until he went off.
He trained today with the group. Cacic says he doesn’t know if Modric and Mandzu can cope with the whole game but that’s just rubbish. Modric wll defenetly play; Mandzu I’m not sure given Kalinic’s form, more than is actual condition.

I think this will be my final draft. Although still tempted to replace Bale with Muller. He was unlucky not to score a hattrick against Ireland after squandering so many chances. Should i stick with Bale ?! Or should i go with Muller ?!??
