Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 13

screenshot_173Welcome to the Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 13 article. So we managed a scintillating 38pts last week which was two below the average. Despite again finishing below the average we were actually quite pleased with ourselves on Monday night. Going into the West Brom game with had just 19pts to our name. Step forward Allan-Roméo Nyom and Darren Fletcher. When we bought Nyom ahead of GW12 we didn’t expect him to be our highest scoring player but thanks to the clean sheet, an assist and two bonus points he finished up on 11pts (High five us!). Fletcher climbed off our bench to replace Gundogan and duly chipped in with a goal meaning he contributed 8pts to our total. The fact that the rest of our team managed 19pts between the nine of them says enough about how pathetic they were! As you might expect we were handed yet another red arrow as we dropped to 80,126th position… it could have been so much worse had it not been for the Baggies!

Transfer – Sold Raheem Sterling and bought Philippe Coutinho
No surprise here as we had this transfer planned out last week. Liverpool home to Sunderland will hopefully provide plenty of scoring opportunities for him, and as we have seen Coutinho has been central to much of what Liverpool have produced this season. We are probably a bit late to this party, after all he is the most owned player in the game, but sometimes better late than never and if we leave it any longer he may well leave us standing alone in the corner once the lights go off, wondering why we never even bothered to ask for a dance, as he jets off into the night with the hot chick. But fear not Philippe, the fat ugly chick is coming along for a threesome… :hippo:

We did consider other options and most notable was our lack of Chelsea cover and this is a big concern for us. We looked at ‘extreme’ measures such as even ditching Kun, but we decided to at least give him this week given what West Brom did to Burnley on Monday but he could be the fall guy very soon as we look to restructure a bit and add some dark blue to our ranks.

THE NEW TEAM IN FULL FOR Gameweek 13

Our Captain is Alexis Sanchez
Even before the ‘Kun is a doubt’ news came out, it was a straight fight between Alexis and Coutinho for the armband. Poor Kun didn’t even register one vote which is a bit odd really given that his points per 90 minutes away from home this season are an amazing 9.5. The only player eclipsing that is is Coutinho as his home game rate is a straight 10 points per 90mins. For the record he got 40% of the (sensible) vote this week. The Gooner somehow nicked it though with 60%. His PP90 at home is just 5.3. Let’s hope he makes a mockery of the stats this weekend then! Just in case Wenger gives his favourite Chilean the weekend off Coutinho is the vice-captain.

Yikes! Aguero starts for City. De Bruyne & Silva on the bench. Stones and Gundogan not included in the matchday squad.
