Welcome to the Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 26 article. A small green arrow was delivered to our doorstep by the FPL stork after a GW25 score of 58 – this compares to the average of 47, so it was ok, nothing special but a win is a win and we’ll take it. Captain Zlatan let us down, missing numerous good chances to score, he should have had at least a brace but we had to accept his assist. His main competitor for the armband, Alexis, obviously rubbed out noses in it with a brace, slightly fortuitously, but a brace and maximum bonus points to boot for a 15pt return. Clean sheets for Cech, Coleman and Pieters were boosted by either bonus points or save points for the trio. All the rest of the crowd were 2 pointers except Kyle Walker who didn’t even manage that as Spurs were soundly beaten at Anfield. Two free transfers await us… the meeting could get feisty.

Transfer for GW26 – Sold Cech & Sanchez, Bought Jakupovic and Mane
We’re rich!!! £5.6m in the bank. Ok so it may be a poor looking team on the pitch but we won, right?…

No? Oh ok, sorry we got sucked into the Arsenal model there for a second… despite selling two of their best players, ironically.

We should explain our own strategy here though as it may not be immediately obvious as there were a myriad of other moves we could have made and we ended up with a strange pair.

Basically we are already planning ahead for a DGW that may or may not even happen! We have Kun and Sterling pencilled in for next week and have made our moves accordingly. If it doesn’t happen then we shall put it down as one of those things but the likelihood is that City will beat Huddersfield and so we can press on with our plans.

We do like to give an insight into our inner thinking though, as followers may know, so here are some random extracts from this weeks chat on the team situation –

“Geez, our team is not strong for this week ‘on paper'”
“It’s been like that for most of the season!”

You can’t argue with either of those statements!

“Dortmund would sell their Mum before a breastfeeding final”

We did say it was random and that one made us laugh hard!

THE NEW TEAM IN FULL FOR GW 26

Our Captain is Mane
With no Lukaku to lean on (praying that one doesn’t hurt us bad, it may do) then an in form Mane against an out of form and now managerless Leicester was our next port of call.

If anyone is interested in following the site teams progress then you can do so here and we wish you all the best of luck this week with your own teams.

    Nice moves those
No playing GK and Arsenal having their next 3 fixtures as Blank Liverpool Blank justify Cech and Sanchez being sold

    Good luck team

    Hi guys

I have 1.1m in the bank. I’m considering Cech to Jakupovic?

    Any other suggestions?
