GW23 is live! We hope you are happy with your transfers, your line-up and your all important captain selection as there’s little else you can do now other than sit back and watch the action unfold. Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards!
This round of fixtures sees us off with a lunch time kickoff and what a game we have in store. A battle between a Hull team who couldn’t score on the FF247 writers versus a side who lost their heart and soul when the silver fox took his talents to Crystal Palace. Luckily some actual FPL talent hit the pitch with six 3pm games. Including a battle at Anfield when former Liverpool heroes Downing and Carroll pay a visit. The best fixture of the GW caps the Saturday games. As City looks to revive their hopes of challenging for the title with a visit to Stamford Bridge. Sunday brings us the last two fixtures of the GW, with Arsene’s men chasing down that coveted 4th place title vs the goal scoring machine of Aston Villa. We then finish the GW off with the surprising Saints as they look to continue their inspiring march towards the champions league.

Who in their right minds would have Walters in their team and expect something?!?!?! The ones who have better quickly play some lottery because mother luck is with them tonight!!! 😉 Is it because Bojan is out that he plays a bit further up the pitch or am I missing something? Bandwagon?
I believe that’s the case yeah KFC. Don’t worry it won’t last, Diouf back soon and doesn’t get much better than QPR at home – even we scored 4 vs them at OT!
I saw Init mention him last night playing further forward so thought it was worth a punt as I’m needing to make up points!
@Cookie : Very true haha but why have I not been on the receiving end of such odd players scoring big once and then disappearing! 😉 Haha and yes we did, and to be honest our display today was okay again, nothing fancy, just a routine win against a por opposition. Next GW will be quite the test of character!

Good question. I am going for JWP. He plays QPR (poor them haha). So it’s written in the clouds!
Dreamers, I think the secret is keep a floating position and just get someone who plays either Hull or preferably QPR at home!!
KFC, I didn’t see it, but was trying to follow it. Routine would also of been my word to describe it, by the nature of the comments. Something very not right and next week as you say, could be a very tricky test. I have ADM and I think I’m getting rid. So many other better options at his price level or there abouts.

Yeah difficult to see past Silva and Kun for City. I didn’t see the whole game but people were laughing at his crossing, saying it was abysmal!! One week punt home to Hull though?!?!
YeS Cookie I hear you! I also got ADM and he will be the only United attacking coverage I will have. To be fair he could have scored 2 today. He has to just change his darn boots! He kept on slipping all the time! Did Gerrard lend him those boots? (okay too easy, too mean) Rooney played too far back and RVP..well he’s RVP and I do not trust him no more. Perhaps Falcao he he gets games under his belt. He looked okay..only okay for now but soon will do a Walters!!!!! 😉

Dreamers, GW27 is the League Cup Final weekend so no Chelsea v Leicester or Spurs v QPR. All of those have a blank that week. As of now Spurs and QPR have a double GW28. The Chelsea game may be added to that if Leicester get beat by Villa in the next round of the FA Cup. If Leicester win it won’t be.

Hey Cap’n, you may as well press the button and get going as this is your last week to do so either way. I’d change Downing (tough fixtures and got shunted out to the wing today in a tough fixture – sign of things to come?), switch Boyd if you can (while you can) and I don’t like Moreno or Taylor’s prospects on a WC as there are better rotational combos.
Some good advice. How about this? Wanted Sturridge but also wanted decent City and Chelsea coverage and didnt want to change hazard to fabregas. Liverpool have some tough games too.
Elia serious gametime risk with Mane back! I’d take sterling over silva for liverpool coverage.They look much better now with sturridge in the side. JWP(4.8) over colback.Foster/Pantimilon over guzan.
If you remove clichy(get PVA-4.2?) who looks good for the hull game but City not keeping too many cs otherwise, you can invest in mid and upgrade elia.
