Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 33 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 32GW33 is live! Its not just 6 teams that decided to take the gameweek off, our lunch time kick-off is also on a sabbatical this week. However we do have 4 three o’clock games. The Baggies visit Palace where Pulis will look to not take another beating. Palace averaging more than 2 goals per game over their last 6 and West Brom allowing 2 per game over that same time frame, sounds like a good day to own assets from the Pardew juggernaut. The Toffees see Burnley come in who despite their bad luck this season are still fighting for survival. Last place Leicester host the Swans, the Foxes are all of a sudden back in the fight to stay up with 2 straight wins. Southampton pay a visit to the Britannia where they will unleash Pelle on Stoke. Chelsea and Manchester United close the Saturday games. Interesting match up this, one team scoring for fun and the other only scoring just enough to get by. Hopefully CFC can up their one shot on target output from last week.

Sunday welcomes in the last two fixtures of this light gameweek. The Hammers visit the Etihad, where I am sure the stadium will be buzzing with excitement after City’s recent displays and an opponent that hasn’t won on their travels since December 2nd. Speaking of excitement, Newcastle welcome in over-the-hill Harry Kane and a Spurs side that has lost that spark about them, so much so, that basically they resemble Newcastle now.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Saturday in full…

Crystal Palace v West Brom 3pm

Everton v Burnley 3pm

Leicester v Swansea 3pm

Stoke v Southampton 3pm

Chelsea v Man Utd. 5:30pm

Sunday sees two fixtures…

Man City v West Ham 1:30pm

Newcastle v Spurs 4pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

    Good morning all!
So did -4 to get Skrtel and Sterling.
Now have 5 DGW players, thinking to get 2 more.
Im on the top by 30 points in my mini league, so -12 no problem for me.
    So, who will I get?
    Have £2.0 itb.

Hey Respect1987 might just be worth another 4 point hit say Cambiasso , Fab or Hendo

That 30 point lead will be an 18 point lead if you take the big hit. Personally, i’d leave it as is.

      • Pippin says:

Agreed. If you’re holding rather than chasing, taking big risks just plays into your opponents hands. Speaking as one who *is* chasing, I love seeing players above me lose their nerve and start taking hits.

        • Respect1987 says:

you see he has Mignolet/ Terry/ Hazard/ Canbiasso/ Remy from last week and probably will do at least -8 and will get 3 more DGW players, so I need maybe 2 more to be safe, if he will do -8 and me -12, its not so bad. He has 3 red players, so for sure 2-4 changes for him.

        • NIN says:

By the sound of that, i’d most definitely leave it as is. You’ve got most of the main players already. Walters -> Henderson if you must.

        • Respect1987 says:

Stoke has all good fixtures for the rest of the season, just Liverpool and (Spurs). I think Sunderland at home this week Walters will score. What you think of Mignolet or Curtois for Panti? and maybe Coutinho or Henderson for Siggy (he got 1 assist in the last 6 games)

        • Respect1987 says:

          or Siggy to Oscar?

Ok, further revising my WC plans towards getting really stuck into the DGW: three each from Leicester, Chelsea, Liverpool. I have realised that they play Newcastle, Palace, and QPR respectively in the following week, so I think this is more than just a one week punt. I could probably avoid a transfer before GW35 thanks to this strong core (plus Kane and Kun up against each other’s poor defences) and then I have 2FTs in hand for the Arsenal boys. Thoughts?

Keeping someone from Palace vs Hull seems worthwhile too…Bolasie over Punch? I like Punch in the number 10 role though…despite his uneven scoring

      Albertini says:

Morning Pippin, team looks very good for both DGW34 and GW35, similar to my WC draft.
I’m struggling with the planned transfers for GW36 as I’d want at least two Arsenal attackers by then (Giroud and one of the heavy hitter mids).
Also Liverpool will play Chelsea away and Leicester is home to Southampton and ideally we wouldn’t have more than one or two from both teams in GW36.
Do you have this already planned?

      • Pippin says:

Ciao Albertini. I wouldn’t say *planned* just yet, no. Init suggested yesterday that getting some Arsenal cover in and benching him while I had the WC active might be a good idea. I could squeeze Bellerin for example onto my bench in place of PvA, or even Koscielny for Bertrand (is Saints defence drying up as a prospect?). Then without transferring in GW35, I can trade Sterling and Vardy for Oezil (or cheaper) plus Giroud. Sanchez is beyond my reach if I want Giroud also; the only way to get them both in would be to replace Ivanovic with a 4.0m defender and a 4pt hit.

        Any thoughts yourself?

        • Albertini says:

I’m thinking Ospina to go along with Schmeichel and to leave enough in the bank to trade my 3rd fwd (probably Vardy) to Giroud and one of the Liverpool mids (Coutinho?) to Ramsey, with two FTs in GW36. It means to go to the Hull game without any Arsenal cover bar Ospina but with Leicester playing at home to Newcastle, that’s not too bad.
Other option is to get Giroud already with the WC and save a FT… but I don’t fancy the idea of having to play Giroud against my double Chelsea defence…

Bingo 😉 Bolaise over Puncheon, for me.

What are peoples thoughts on Silva? I know he didn’t break the cheek bone but do we think he’ll play in the DGW (albeit with a batman mask)?
