Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. Our game-week kicks off Saturday lunchtime as Leicester take the shortish route to battle Stoke at the Britannia. Following on are four 3pm matches which are four of the most boring collection of top flight matches in living history as Huddersfield host West Brom, Bournemouth travel to Newcastle, Southampton ‘entertain’ Burnley and Swansea welcome Brighton. Fortunately the Premier League have arranged for Liverpool to thump West Ham in the evening kick off in an attempt to wake us from our coma. The fun is all on Sunday – first up Crystal Palace are the latest team to visit Wembley. Sadly for the Eagles they get to play Spurs rather than fight for a trophy, but they can dream. Next up Arsenal travel to the Etihad for their annual spanking before Jose drives and parks his bus at his old home as Chelsea try and break through the United wall. Oh and Richarlison gets the perfect opportunity to appease his fans and owners as he and his fellow Hornets go to Goodison.

SIlva for gametime, Sterling for explosiveness. Really up to you, I personally have Silva because I hate seeing my players not start, and he really should have picked up some points over the last few weeks! With City players in that price range, you can afford a few sub appearances if they perform when they’re on though.

    Afternoon all,

Swapping Ben Davis for Vertonghen but need some funds so probably going to ditch Cedric.

Is Francis nailed on for Bournemouth now (he didnt seem to be at the start of the season) I can afford to have Daniels but the 0.4 difference comes in very handy elsewhere.

    Cheers

@Hammers, it be hard to drop him right about now, think he got 2 MOTM awards in the last 5, plus if you look at Bournemouth over the span he has been starting they have improved. At the beginning of the season he was injured (Hamstring) if I am not mistaken, so that probably had more to do with it than anything.

    Thanks Mito,

I might go for him then. Short term fixtures are good. Daniels obviously has more attacking potential but i would have to jump on early as i’d have nothing left itb. As I said that 0.4 can be very handy elsewhere.

Hey gang. Horriffic gw. 99% ready to wc. So my question is, is there an advantage to activating it now at the start of the break? Would I earn the price rises for players I bring in while on WC? Never got a good grasp on this one. Cheers.

In theory you can. You’d have to check the price rise sites fairly regularly. So for example if Salah is due to go up tonight you’d buy him and then hope he goes up again. If he goes up by 0.2 then you can sell him with a 0.1 profit. You can do that across the board with all 15 spots. Just don’t fall into the trap of using anyone you have now that you will still ultimate want to keep come the deadline as you’d lose out by moving them out and rebuying them, most likely.
