Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18. And we are back. Again! Get used to the quick turnaround as it is exciting times right now. Presents to buy? Turkeys to prepare? Nah, screw that, it’s football time! Leicester and Palace kick off a bumper weekend that goes all the way through until Monday night this time. They get going at lunch-time on Saturday and are followed by five 3pm games. Saturday evening sees possibly the game of the week as Man City host Spurs in what is a truly mouth-watering clash.

Sunday has two games with Man united visiting Pardew and his West Brom team first, followed by Bournemouth hosting Liverpool. Or at least whichever version of Liverpool Klopp chooses to actually place on the field this time.

We continue through to Monday with Allardyce faced with a home game he is expected to win. Grinding out away draws are more his speciality so this one could be testing as Swansea roll up, legs akimbo.

What is everyone doing with Alli and Erik? I haven’t got them but have Spurs in a draft team.

This is why I hate fantasy football, Sterling has been so bad today and now he outscores De Bruyne…

I don’t know what to do with my team…. Thought sane will score and play.. Kept him for last 3gw.. Decided to get in Silva again seeing his scoring streak… And what happens.. Right..!! Sane and Sterling both get good scores and Silva doesn’t even start.. If there would be a league for selecting the non scoring 11..I would give a tough fight in that for sure… How the hell can I be so consistent in selecting the wrong player over and over again…:/
    Anyone else experiencing the similar??

Early average estimates. Looks like about 27 so far.

And no bonus for Sterling despite 2 goals. That must be a first / another fix.

Sterling got at least -9 BPS for big chances misses, other than his 2 goals he contributed very little. Cant imagine it has happened before though, no.

Sterling missed a few huge sitters. Kinda didn’t deserve bonus points IMO, but scoring two and getting nowt must be a first!

Seeing these averages makes me pretty happy on 41 with Salah, Firmino, DLC & Fabianski to go.

      DMC says:

He didn’t get bps for two reasons: one has been documented and relates to his big misses. The other, is that KDB, Gundogan and Sane also did very well. Sane, for example, not only got two assists but also barely missed a pass or missed anything really. He’s reaching form and I am a happy patient owner. Also, Sterling’s 37 bps would have given him at least 2 bps in any of the other games today so it’s not that he had a bad total, it´s just that other member of his team were better.
