Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20. How you feeling? Bit hungover from the booze? Stuffed from the food? Hands aching from making toys or building Lego? Or just bored of the mrs or in-laws? Whatever your state of mind, you’re back among friends. We understand. And better still GW20 is live! It’s an early(ish) start as Spurs host Southampton at Wembley in the lunchtime kick off. Six 3pm matches follow – Bournemouth host West Ham, Brighton go to Chelsea, Huddersfield welcome Stoke, it’s the bus convention at Old Trafford as United clash with Burnley, Leicester go to Watford and its Pardew vs Big Sam as West Brom ‘entertain’ Everton at the Hawthorns.

There’s some evening entertainment too as Liverpool host Swansea.

We then have 24 hours or so to recover before Newcastle do what they can to stop the Man City juggernaut. And then another 24 hour break before the GW finishes with a London derby as Palace host Arsenal.

    Hey guys,
Can’t seem to decide what to do.
Have 2 FTs and 0.1 ITB
Ideally want to do the following
    Morata to Firmino this gw
    And then next dgw
    Richarlison to Arnie
    And a Spurs defender/Lloris in
But Morata has a great fixture against Stoke. Don’t know whether I should remove him or not.
Suggestions and any alternative are possible

I’d hold morata for the next game. He should also be your vc. Maybe Christian to a 5m defender the gamez to Ogbonna? No bench players is a high risk though

I would say Morata is better positioned to outscore Firmino this week, I have kept him for that reason and is a great captaincy option.

It’s not a terrible switch though if you want Firmino long-term and his price is could well increase by 0.1 on Friday night? I can’t really see anything else wrong except Gamez but thats a price thing obviously.

I like the Mahrez pick, not seen in many teams but steadily picking up points.

        Den,
I would’ve kept Morata as it is but I’ve 2 FTs so gotta use one at least. Will wait for the pressers tomorrow and make a decision. And yeah Mahrez has worked out pretty well for me
        Thanks for the input Den

So yesterday was a pretty hungover day. For some reason I brought in Dawson over Kenny – oh well.

      Rosco77 says:

Dawson did alright! Sometimes you gotta zig when everyone zags!! Just seen your email! Coutinho is a good shout, but then I said that avout Silva… seriously though I think that’s s good move, I’ll be getting him in after the DGW. How’s your GW? ( I’ll probacly clIck on your link now and find out for myself!!)

      • TheDreamers says:

hey Rosco – only brought him in yesterday so its the next gw – West Brom play Arsenal. Its not beyond the realms of possibility they draw. Spilled milk now anyway.
Got 83 which on a normal week would be a good score – just not this week. The likes of DDG let me down and had only brought in Christensen so it was a shame he didnt play.

        How about you?

Just clicked on your team and realized you must have meant Dawson for next GW! Haha well I stand by my zig and zag comment!!

Im a bit stuck on what to do. Managed 88 points after subs come in without Kane. I have 2 fts but no money in bank. Dont want to lose a transfer really. Any ideas or I guess I am waiting on news for Rooney and Silva?
Not too fussed about the double this time with only 48 hours between games but ideally wanted 2 transfers to give me some coverage. Cheers

    • 142.1

You have a strong team for this GW. Only those two are up for changes I would say. I have never struggled to use a FT when I already have 2 banked but yours is tough.

Silva to Pogba is a decent option, assuming Silva is ruled out. I don’t see any striker replacements at Rooney’s price or lower that I would want. Perhaps Rooney to Firmino and then Silva to Arnautovic would stand you in decent stead. You have two good striker options on the bench who could come in for this GW.

      Rosco77 says:

That’s a smasher of a defence Matt! Your attacking is grim but your midfield is dreamy!
If it were my team I’d be bringing in Son for Silva and benching him, there are no obvious moves I’d make this week. I know that you’re not fussed on the DGW but it could hurt you. I’d be inclined to bring in Son and next week switch Haz and Rooney for Kane and Arnie if funds allow. Hazard is just not good value, I have him and he’ll be gone in 22 r hardness of what he does this weekend
