Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 7. Your last chance for some FPL points before we go off again on another pointless international break and all your star players get to globe trot like carbon emissions are a thing of the past. GW7 spans just Saturday and Sunday this time and we begin with Spurs on the road (that’s good Spurs then) as they go to Huddersfield at lunchtime. We then have five 3pm kick-offs. None of which look particularly exciting if we are being totally honest! Man United hosting Palace may be for those who captained Lukaku, but then again who didn’t! Hence the lack of excitement…
The best game on Saturday (in theory) is being kept back until the evening and sees the current champs Chelsea host the probable next ones Man City. Or so it seems. You could probably have said the same this time last season. And been proven very wrong. Which makes it just the more intriguing this time.
Sunday is a veritable feast, at least compared to last week! Arsenal host Brighton in the early game, Koeman will hope that Niasse can keep him in a job a week longer in the 2.15pm one and then we round the week off with Liverpool going to Newcastle and the TV companies flogging the possibility of another 4-3 classic. Monkeys and typewriters and all that…

So.. The Morata news gets also me in trouble.
My team here.. 0ITB 1FT. Im considering doing some hits. Was first thinking: Fabregas, Alli, Morata > David Silva, Hazard, Rashford, but thinking of going with Chicartio insted becouse of easy fixtures. But not sure there.. Had him in he earlier rounds, and didnt like where he was palying on the pitch for some games.. Any sugestions?!
Lacaz wouldn’t be a bad move either. His next 3 games arnt the worst either. I am taking Vardy to improve the mid-field with a hit

Yeah Cookie. I was thinking of Forster for Krul as I feel light having lost DDG also I did have Van Dyke in the WC but changed to Cedric. I did loose Lukaku because I think he will struggle with some tough games coming up and no Pogba so will have Jesus and Morata for a few weeks.
Colonial, looking at Newcastle’s next few fixtures you’re probably ok playing Elliot so maybe having Krul is ok?

Colriles, I like the Vardy option – my concern is they are not really firing. In that respect maybe Batman works for a few weeks and keep an eye on the Toothman.
I’d go with Batshit to be honest. Leicester just seem too inconsistent.
I am not sure Batshit will start – they may ignore the CF and go with Hazard Pedro and Willien in a 5-2-3 formation?

Afternoon fellas, how are we all doing? I see Morata is screwing a lot of people over and now I believe there is a rumour going around that Lukaku is injured but I don’t know how true that is.
I have 2 FTs this week and have just came up with the idea of swapping from 343 to 352. My proposed moves are Carroll, Groß and Wood to Choupo-Moting, Richardlison and Ayew for a -4. I can skip the Carroll move for a week but would prefer to get ahead of any price falls/rises. What do you think?
Matt, if I’m honest, they are uninspiring moves. Choupo-Moting could go either way, Richie has some tough fixtures coming up and Ayew is, well Ayew and plays for Swansea. Defo wouldn’t hit for that lot.
Cheers Cookie. I’m just not happy with the team as it is and Richardlison looks like the only way Watford are going to score or will be the one who assists. As for Choupo-Moting, I was just going on fixtures as they look decent for the next few months. Ayew is just a necessary evil to upgrade midfield.
Current team looks like this and on paper looks decent but just haven’t been inspiring in reality.
It’s not that bad Matt. Your defence is fine. Midfield is good. Wood spoils the strikers but I have a similar prob with J Rod. Maybe Lukaku to Vardy then do something with Wood?
Yeah Wood is what is annoying me the most. He’s done sweet FA since I brought him in. Is Lukaku definitely out injured though? Didn’t want to lose my only United cover especially since he’s the most consistent one.
Matt, as I understand it, he picked up a knock in training, played vs Palace and had a scan after which showed no ligament damage, but he is doing special one on one training away from the group……
..so it’s a tricky one. If there was a GW this weekend I’d say get rid but as there isn’t and assuming he doesn’t play for Belgium he’ll have a fortnight to rest in which case he may be 100% again as it’s clearly not that bad.
Right cheers Cookie. That would mean the best plan is too hold off until more news comes out regarding Lukaku and if he is injured swap him to Vardy, Upgrade Wood to someone.
Yeah see if the situation develops Matt. Wood is actually expensive when you consider he plays for Burnley! It’s not like he’s ever going to make your GW or be a realistic Capo choice, so 6mln is probably his right price. In my view.
I completely agree with you mate!! At first I thought 6.5 would be a bargain and Wood would be banging in the goals but Burnley and him have been underwhelming so his price should be lower but I’d say FPL thought the same as I did.

I have to confess something.
After a relatively good start of my season, I dropped in GW5 and GW6 from 150k to 700k. Main reason was that my front line Kane/Jesus/Firmino produced too little, compared to Lukaku (which I decided long ago that I did not want, covered by Pogba and Mhiki), Kun and Morata.
I needed badly Morata and Kun, that the number 2 and 3 of my mini league had, but I could not see how to get them. I did not want to WC just for them both, the rest of the team looked ok.
So I sticked, but deeply hoped that Kun and Morata underperformed.
Or even did not play.
So now that my wish came true, I wonder whether I have some superpowers, and cursed them both. Used some kind of divine power to get Kun into a (light) car accident, and got Morata a slight muscle injury. Just to perform better at fantasy.
I feel bad, but I must confess that I had a great GW7!!
(Just so you know: I currently do not own Lacazette, De Bruyne, Coutinho or Hazard. Be aware of the risk if you transfer them in!)
