Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2016-17

Well hello there, your favourite snake oil salesman here bringing you another installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off! Once again I have charmed our 3 amigos into given us some insight into some of the questions that all managers are asking, and by all, I mostly just mean me. We will look to cover topics like GW34, Mr. Party, Kun and Alexis. We also address the top 4 where we witness the LFC fan (Kop) pick United to finish ahead of them and the United fan (Cookie) pick LFC to finish ahead of them. Must be fun watching games of their team with these two. Anyway, enough of this intro and let us get to it, let’s see what the fellas have to say.

DGW34 IS ON THERE AS CONFIRMED BUT DGW37 IS VERY MUCH PROVISIONAL!
That’s our best guess as to how it will pan out and there is still Southampton vs Arsenal to be rearranged. That looks likely to be in GW35 or 36. The FPL site itself has said that they expect the remaining games to be confirmed on or around the 7th April.

Teams with DGW’s ahead… (with thanks to Rosco)

Right I’m bored! So I’ve turned to gambling, as you do smile

Going to follow this weeks Football Ramble with an acca on all of Spain, Italy and England winning with a 2 goal handicap.

Anyone got anything going that may be worth a look?

I’m reluctantly being drawn towards Negredo as a replacement for Gabbiadini (If the injury is as bad as being reported), he plays four of the worst defenses plus Burnley in the next six (Averaged 6 PPG in the earlier games against them sides) and has a DGW at the end of it to boot, it looks like Boro will have to come out of their shell so to speak if they are to stand any chance of beating the drop so maybe worth the punt, would there be any other bargain third strikers (6.8 and down) be worthy of taking a punt on ahead of him?

Any word on a new Boro manager? They played defensively throughout Karanka’s tenure something which and I reckon they’ll find it difficult to move away from that in such a short space of time.
Despite this I could take a punt on him myself, he can’t be any worse than Carroll!!

I used to watch a bit of it on trans world sport back in the day but I’m too far removed from watching it now, I don’t think I’ll be bothering with too many southern hemisphere sports until the Lions rock up in New Zealand in the summer, it was always the food that got me about being in the hospitals (Didn’t mind the nurses much though).

Andy, I’m curious what other southern hemisphere sports there might be… other than Aussie Football.. you’ve piqued my interest..

        • Andy says:

Sumo wrestling, world series of shark wrestling, Kabbadi (That used to be shown on C4 in the UK before they got the Serie A show somehow) and Takeshi’s castle were some of my favorites back in the day.
