Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2017-18 Part 2

The International break is here and it is of course time for yet another edition of Bore Off! As ever during the international break we take the time to catch up with some of our site regulars, ask them how their seasons are going and get their thoughts on some key issues that we all want answers to. And then of course ask them some stupid questions that we all really don’t want answers to but are too intrigued to look away. We have already caught up with 3 of them but such was the clamour to be involved this week we have a bonus ‘part 2’. And so we are delighted to be joined by Serendipity, Milburn and Footy Fantastic (Guy) for part 2.

    Quick question,

Which one would you go for:

    A) Mane & Surman
    B) Salah & Carroll

    Full team would be:

    Pope, Elliot
    Azpi, Otamendi, Jones, Ward, Rosenior
De Bruyne, Richarlison, Gross, Salah/Mane, Carroll/Surman
    Aguero, Kane, Abraham

    £0 in the bank

    Thanks in advance

I’ve pressed the button folks, WC active.
This is what I have at the minute; I could do:
De Gea, Simpson and Sane to
    Courtois, Stone and Sterling
Which makes the team looked more balanced but I’m not sure it’s the right thing to do, Sane seems to be more nailed than Sterling currently but who knows how long that will last.
Would of liked Richarlison in but it’s impossible with everyone else.
I’ve also chosen to ignore my own advice in this article and carry on Carroll and RLC rotating purely as enablers.

I personally would do the three changes you have stated. The way I look at it is what combination will score highest and I would expect Courtois, Stones and Sterling to probably outscore the other three over the course of the season.

There is also the option/dilemma that I have as to whether to have Salah/Carroll or Mane/Surman. Im leaning toward the latter purely for the fact I would rather have Surman as an option to play rather than Carroll. If both stay fit I think Mane/Salah will score similar points for the rest of the season.
