Live Match Chat Gameweek 20 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 20 FPL News: We hope you enjoyed your 17 hours free from FPL and football in general! Yes, you read it right, GW19 ended last night and GW20 starts this morning. Now if that doesn’t smack of rotation then we don’t know what does. Obviously the teams are spread out in some sort of equal ‘ish’ fashion but there is also the issue of having so little time that some injuries will not be reported on. It’s a bit hit and hope in that respect at this time of year and so the team sheets will be eagerly anticipated and we begin at 12.30pm with ‘Boro hosting Leicester, followed by four 3pm games and today ends with Man united visiting West Ham. Tuesday evening see three games, before our week and Christmas period itself finally ends on Wednesday with Spurs hosting Chelsea amid echoes of a certain New Years Day fixture two years ago ending up 5-3 to the hosts, albeit a few days earlier than the anniversary.

I am cursed. I am glad Wijnaldum messed up Peps payday. Sarcrifice who? Kun? Ikea never plays but now he starts? I swear, Pep is a lousy manager. Thank you for benching my cap, this makes my double hit woth it all the more. HAHA!

    Rosco77 says:

Thing is with Aguero he can still come off the bench and destroy a team in 20 mins… hoping he doesn’t as I don’t have him but he probably will! Wish I’d started Allen over Origi now!

Hatty in 81st, 84th and 89th minute for Kun. laugh

      • Raziel says:

Pep really can’t manage. A starplayer having 1 poor game because of the team effort and drop him. It’s just crazy.

Same with Iheanacho, he had 1 poor game and suddenly he was out of the picture. You need to give a player trust and need some form of stability in the team. Changing defense every 10 seconds doesn’t help either. Ach, whawt an ..

In the past I would have used bad words, but GeePee made me see my ways were wrong. sad

        • Rosco77 says:

I can actually see this happening which is why I’m not smug I didn’t bring him in! Aguero is a beast!

        • Raziel says:

Rosco, there was a reason why Kun made that bad foul and got suspended for 4 games. He is really not feeling well under Pep, there is no doubt. And if you look at how he is managed, I understand why. Worst thing he ever did was benching Kun versus Barca, I think the relationship was completely destroyed after that. You don’t bencn your best player because of your own pride and some former philosophy, one that only worked with Barca and Bayern (where you actually managed the 2 best teams at that current time, when you took over).

        • billisBob says:

yeah definitely – Kun hasn’t been the player he was this season. It’s not him that changed though, but the system. I think his goals to games ratio has not been as good as last season. It’s a real shame to see such an incredible player utilised like this, even from a Liverpool supporter’s point of view.

That being said, it today might just be to protect Kun’s fitness.

        • Raziel says:

Nope, it is Pep making a point, he is the main man. Not the guy that gave City the championship in the last dying seconds of the last games and the man who has been their main idol. It’s crazy. If I was a Citizen or whatever they call themselves, I’d be worried. Pep is taking a piss and he’s letting all the fans swim in it. That’s what you get when the manager has a much bigger ego than the players.

        • Rosco77 says:

Totally agree Raz, Kun is probably of not def the best player in the league but for whatever reason pep doesn’t fancy him which is bonkers in my opinion.

Aguero not starting excuse me Pepe?
He just did this I spit in the face of all fantasy managers. If they lose against Burnley I’m trashing all my city coverage.

    Mark90 says:

Kun is a complete waste of time and money. Glad i got rid of him as the amount of points he takes up holds the rest of the team back. He’s far too expensive to warrant a place.

      Waxys says:

I had a great team without Kun. But I got cold feet and got him as I thought he was a guranteed starter and I didn’t first Sterling for city coverage.

      Raziel says:

Bullshit Mark90. You people always shout things like this when you can. Try not having him when he scores 4 and please be so smug about it again. Lol. The people said the same about Ibra and Alexis at some point. Hazard had a few good games and suddenly everybody sold Alexis and got Hazard, Alexis scored 2 and assisted 2 and suddenly he is the main man again.

In this case, Pep can’t manage. Any freaking starting manager even knows you have to start your best players. Why you think Chelsea are doing so well? Because Conte made things work with Costa and Hazard again,, same for Arsenal and Alexis (whom always plays) and ManU and Ibrahimovic.
