Live Match Chat Gameweek 23 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 23 FPL News: We may have been rudely interrupted by another FA Cup weekend but we are back with a midweek bonanza. Everyone loves a packed FPL schedule under the lights and having the games all tightly packed together with the points rolling in simultaneously adds to the excitement and drama. Tuesday embodies that perfectly with no less than seven games. Six of those kick off at 7.45pm, the main ones of FPL interest, certainly from from a captaincy perspective anyway, are probably Arsenal, or more accurately Sanchez, hosting Watford, whilst Kane and co look at ripping Moyes’ men a new one up north. It could be grim up there, as the saying goes. Liverpool host Chelsea at 8pm in what could be the game of the round and also one that probably dictates whether Chelsea take the title in March or whether they have to wait a few weeks until April to do so… Wednesday almost feels like a famine in comparison with just the three fixtures to consider. Man City are away but should feel entirely at home as they go from one soulless stadium to another to visit West Ham, Man Utd are at home and will be looking to ‘wear fur’ before Stoke host an in form Everton. Please join us as ever on Live Match Chat to rejoice in the points as they (hopefully) roll in. Or lament the ones missed…

Cant believe ive just sold aguero and taken a hit to do so. cant believe it but wont hr eont be getting bak in the team any time soon and also off penalties so cant justify his price tag. Ive went with lukaku as i fancy him.as cappo for ge24 he doesnt have any blanks coming up.

guys can i have ur thoughts on pedro? has he lost his place to willian? is he likely to start against arsenal?

They seem to be switching places depending on the game. Tougher fixture and Willian gets the nod. Easier one that’ll be more open in theory and Pedro does. I wouldn’t touch him as a result. Much rather have a Siggy or someone who is more vital to their team and will at least play.

      • saloba11 says:

thats exactly who i was thinking of replacing him with. To do it this week would require a hit. is that too risky considering swansea are playing city?

        • inittowinit says:

Tough call looking at City tonight. I’d say no for a hit but given what I said above I expect Willian probably starts against Arsenal but then again it’s Pedro’s ‘turn’ I suppose having sat out the other night and Conte may well just decide to go for them given what Watford did. In which case it’s Pedro. Either way long term that illustrates why you are probably best losing him at some point.

        +1
Everything what Init mentioned plus I ll add that probably Conte has started to finally rotate his team (a bit).
Nothing to be scared off, he looked very “alive and kicking” when he came on – so probably a tactical change or similar considering Che has/had LIV & ARS on their menu.

Based on schedule though, if you think someone else could do better in the next few weeks, I see no issue why not to offload him.
If you eventually decide to do it, the next 2GW’s are the ones to do it, me thinks.
Otherwise, he is ok to stay – if you have other issues to solve in your team.

Hey guys. Would I be crazy to double up on Everton defense? Baines and Coleman? Got 1ft and can do Amat to Coleman.

    Guy you there?

If you would be doing the next fixtures, please make another mockery of Kun again and all the money he’s eating up producing :poop:

    smile

There’s so much to worry in my team (Jones,Friend,Marney,Giroud,Lallana) but since I won’t be using my WC, I’ll just not worry and laugh at Kun smile

Same boat here Nish. Several underperformers but not WC material. Sometimes we just have to ride the low form periods; it’s just very bad when they hit all our players at the same time FFS!
