Live Match Chat Gameweek 29 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 29 FPL News: After an odd GW with just the four games we are back to normal this week with a full compliment of ten to go at again this time. West Brom and Arsenal kick us off at lunchtime on Saturday and then we have no less than five 3pm games with the Palace boring Watford, Everton battering Hull, Stoke pathing the title pathway for Chelsea, Sunderland giving Burnley their best chance yet of an actual away win and then West Ham being Leicester’s latest victims since they woke up again and remembered that they are the champions. Saturday doesn’t end there though as Bournemouth host Swansea in a key game at the wrong end of the table. Sunday brings us the remaining three fixtures as ‘Boro host Man United in the early one, Spurs take on Southampton in the middle one and then Man City and Liverpool book end the lot in what could be the game of the week.

Hey guys, how’s it going? Thanks for the latest info about the DGWs, GP. Hopefully we’re going to get a few more confirmations over the IB. I was wondering if anyone had a link to the FF247 regulars league standings handy. I never joined as I don’t want my American ML competitors snooping around on my page and finding out where I get my edge, but I’m curious to see how I’m stacking up with others. Had a good weekend and moved up to 5,924 OR. Seems there have been some great returns this weekend and some great rankings, too. Very impressive you guys! smile

Morning guys hope you’re all well!

Given that we now have conformation on some of the rearranged games i’ve updated the table to show the games still to be rearranged. This should start to give some indication of the teams who will play a DGW in GW37.

As it stands in would seem likely that GW37 will feature a DGW for the following:

    Arsenal
    Southampton
    Chelsea
    Man Utd
    Leicester City
    Man City
    Spurs
    Sunderland
    Watford
    West Brom

I’ll caveat that by saying this is purely speculation and the above is not set in stone but should start to give us an early indication of which teams MIGHT be getting a DGW in 37.

I’ve also added a section to show which teams have a DGW in 34.

    Hope this is useful!

I’ve just had a quick look at teams who will not have a double in GW37 and they are

      Bournemouth
      Burnley
      Palace
      Hull
      Everton
      Boro
      Stoke
      Swansea
      West Ham
      Liverpool

For those of us who would like to have 15 DGW players in 37 we need to be mindful of what Spurs did to us all last season when they had a single game in the massive DGW. Looking at the fixtures which the above have Everton play at home to Watford and Liverpool travel to West Ham meaning both Merseyside clubs could play havoc…

From that it looks like it’ll have to be Arsenal – Southampton that’ll be on a different GW to the rest, it’s not looking like they’ll be great triple (c) options at the minute for the DGW sides which is a bit of a bummer as that’s one of my main advantages over my rivals, cheers though Rosco.

      • Kop Warrior says:

As someone who used his TC on Aguero I hope it stays like that 😉

Tbh I’d expect a number of the TC candidates to beat Aguero’s 9pts despite the tough fixtures.

      • Rosco77 says:

I think Sanchez for TC or Ibra in 34 look the best bets. Blew mine on Kun too but i’ll take 27 points over the 6 big andy got me last season!

Think I’ll largely ignore DGW 34 I’ll be bringing in Valencia regardless and may pick up a few more but my initial thoughts are maybe double up on the UTD defence and possibly Ibra. Then maybe a boro defender and leave it at that!

        • Andy says:

I can see Zaha tempting me again if I can swing him in by 33, the DGW looks cack but it is sandwiched between two decent looking fixtures for Palace.

It’ll probably have to be Sanchez for the triple (C) I reckon.

All the remaining outstanding fixtures “are to be confirmed on or around Friday 7th April”. The GW32 deadline in Saturday 8th April.

Afternoon guys thinking I should drop Sterling for a few GWs thoughts on his replacement (have Siggy , Mane , Sanchez , Morrison + Costa , Llorente & Luk have 9.3m to spend) thinking Spurs if so who or any other bright ideas 😉

So what’s everyone’s POA now things are becoming a lot clearer in regard to the DGWs – a bit disappointed that the main DGW will be in GW37 but it is what it is!!

What would you do this lot? 1FT & 0.5 ITB

Doesn’t change a lot for me at this point. If I have a week where no important transfers are imminent I may buy a 34 guy just to plump up prior to it.

As for your squad you look like it may be such a week actually.
