Live Match Chat Gameweek 29 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 29 FPL News: After an odd GW with just the four games we are back to normal this week with a full compliment of ten to go at again this time. West Brom and Arsenal kick us off at lunchtime on Saturday and then we have no less than five 3pm games with the Palace boring Watford, Everton battering Hull, Stoke pathing the title pathway for Chelsea, Sunderland giving Burnley their best chance yet of an actual away win and then West Ham being Leicester’s latest victims since they woke up again and remembered that they are the champions. Saturday doesn’t end there though as Bournemouth host Swansea in a key game at the wrong end of the table. Sunday brings us the remaining three fixtures as ‘Boro host Man United in the early one, Spurs take on Southampton in the middle one and then Man City and Liverpool book end the lot in what could be the game of the week.

69 pts with Mané and Aguero left (and Kingsley climbing off the bench with 1 appreciated point).

These overall ranks are really impressive.

I can’t recall so many of our members doing so well all in the same year. Maybe I’ll be reminded and corrected if so.

Anyway, you guys should be proud of yourselves because you’re doing brilliantly. Congratulations and best of luck for the remainder of the season to you all.

    GP

Hi Guys… What’s the best way to get Vardy in my team? Doing Llorente to Vardy leaves me 0.7 short. Unfortunately Siggy to Pedro leaves me 0.1 short. Mane to Coutinho maybe? Any other ideas?

      How about Lorente > Gabi?
Thinking of the same move myself.

I’d maybe look at ditching Baines ahead of two tough away fixtures and pick up a cheaper player who will have the potential of DGW’s, maybe Saints players in Yoshida/Cedric but I’m not too confident that Cedric would start all the DGW’s as their manager what’shisname does like the rotation spiel.

I’d stay away from Saint defence. Tadic and Gabby seem their best options tbh

        • Andy says:

I think only 4 teams have managed more CS’s so far this season than the Saints so their defence hasn’t been too bad, the main problem has been the amount of rotation and injuries that they’ve had which has scuppered the points totals from the likes of Bertrand/Dijk/Cedric, I’d still recommend picking up at least one of them for a WC team or to save funds for an extra forward/mid even though the DGW games themselves don’t look to promising on paper, agree with Gabby, he looks like he could still be a steal at 6.8.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately, as a Pompey fan, I cannot consider any of that lot. I appreciate there’s some good value there, but I’d rather finish bottom of my ML than resort to that.

I’m considering losing Baines as well. Perhaps Llorente, Siggy & Baines to Vardy, Pedro & Fuchs?

I don’t think I want to let Costa go.

Got Mane / Ali / Sterling / Walker to play.
