Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 36 FPL News: Welcome to the double before the DOUBLE! Don’t let the appetizer feel fool you though, this small DGW will be just as vital when it is all said and done in fpl. For those of you who like to drown in misery for more time than you really should, do we have a treat for you. This game-week starts on a Friday and ends the following Wednesday, so plenty of time to second guess yourself while the actual GW drags on and on. The Hammers and Spurs kick it all off with an 8pm fixture. West Ham has won once in their last 10, Tottenham has lost once in their last 10. Hmmmm, I wonder how this is going to go?
On Saturday we get it rolling with a lunch time affair between City and Palace. City needs to win by at least 2 goals to take over third place and Palace with a win 99.9% secures the top flight for next season. 3pm brings us four fixtures. Cherry power tangles with on vacation Stoke, The Clarets play a round of golf with The Baggies, Hull plays the new biggest game ever vs nobody, nobody at all, although some people call them Sunderland. The Foxes and Watford round out the three o’clock games, both teams all but secure their spot in the top league with 1 point, I know what South Americans would do. The last of the Saturday squabbles end with in-need Swansea hosting Everton.
Sunday brings us only two fixtures, but both should be a lot of fun. Liverpool is so close yet so far away to securing a top 4 spot, all they have to do is beat their B team, Southampton. How hard can this be? Really? Just threaten to stop buying their players, job done. In the late game, we see Arsenal and United battle to the death…on twitter and not the players, their fans. Who was better, who was what in the early 2000s. FA cup matters more than the Europa, Europa hands out a Champions League spot, you paid x amount for Pogdab, you still have Wenger, blah blah blah. Meanwhile on the field, United will field whoever is brave enough and Arsenal will play a bunch of overpaid (yeah, even at Arsenal that happens) crybabies who would rather be somewhere else.
Monday brings with it one fixture. Chelsea will inch closer to the title and all but finish relegating Middlesbrough when these two face-off at Stamford Bridge. Hopefully Diego scores one or two before he heads off to China to get even older and live in luxury as he so deserves. Turning on Brazil, asking players from an opposing team to let his team (Rayo Vallecano vs Granada) score and stamping on people rewarded with millions.
Wednesday sees the end of this mini double. As Saints welcome in Arsenal for each of those teams second affair of the GW. Frankly who knows what we will see here. Southampton is just playing out the string and by the time The Gunners arrive at St. Mary’s stadium for all intents and purposes they could be also.

Hey guys, how are things? A pretty low scoring week all round. I’m not sure what to do with Benalouane now. If I sell him I’ll have 4.3m. Any ideas? Cheers guys.
Hey man u man,
I think the obvious names are Stephens (Saints), Holgate (Everton) or Olsson, Fernandez or Naughton (Swansea).
All have something to offer – Saints have a DGW, Everton face Watford next week and battling Swans go to Sunderland and then host West Brom.
If you’re BBing next week, Stephens probably shades it.
Hey Cookie. My team is:
Caballero Pickford
Cahill Davies Stephens Benalouane Holgate
Hazard Sanchez eriksen Carroll King
Costa Kane Jesus
I’ve .3m it with bb next week, so I’m not sure whether to take a risk with Benalouane for the dgw or to change Cahill and Benalouane to maybe azpilicueta/Kompany and yoshida. My ml is close I’m chasing a 15 of lead but he has no bb.
Has to be one of the Swansea lads then i think man u man. Just wait until Leicester’s presser though as we’ll get definite news on Morgan returning.
Cheers Cookie.
Morning all, so we’re all hoping for an Alexis & Gabbiadini masterclass today?
With United & Southampton winning of course…
Morning Cookie, I’m hoping for a Sanchez triple hatrick and a Gabbi blank! Feeling wrecked after being up with a sick puppy, perfect for a 12 o’clock kick off… but we could.. could win the league! How’s your GW?
Oh and def a united blank ( sorry!) as I have 2 Arse’s at the back ( my puppy seems to have this problem too at the minute!!)
Sorry to hear about Flash, Rosco, hopefully he’s right in a couple of days.
Good luck today my friend, should be a good day for you!
Maybe your 2 Gooner defenders can score, as well as Alexis but United still win?! Somehow. Lol.
My gameweek will likely be won or lost on Alexis, Gabbi & Costa performing and Hazard staying quiet!
Vardy looked good again y’day btw – shame he didn’t score for you but the two assists were nice.
I’ll take those two assists all day!! Yeah a cech penalty save and Monreal goal will work just as well!
Hope today’s games are mutually beneficial to both our GWs!
Defo mate, have a great day!
Alexis and Monreal for me. No saints exposure this gw so could do with a 2-0 liverpool win. Thank you
same players for me but I also have yoshida. 4:1 Liverpool please with a goal for Yoshi.
Alexis (C). let’s see if Iwill become yet anoher victim of Mourinho mind games.
I left Valencia and Rashford on the bench. if United will get through as expected I will drop both of them
That Liverpool prediction would be ideal for me too Konstro
fingers crossed. Southampton are heavily represented in a lot of teams and great GW by them as a team would hurt me more than low score by Yoshi.
Yeah I know. Hopefully Liverpool’s feeder team will know it’s place
Morning Cookie,
A Sanchez masterclass would indeed be welcome, accompanied by Gabbiadini not playing preferably. Oh and Liverpool stuffing Soton…
Btw, thanks again for the encouragement to keep Vardy in my WC team
Nice one Leprechaun
My head hurts. How the hell did we win the league?! What a day.
Rosco
Are you closing in on me – I have some heavy weights coming this week and next!
Hey Colonial,
Nice season for you sir.
I am only 15 points behind you but you have effectively 3 more players left this GW so that gap is likely to increase.
I would love a Cahill goal
It seems so! How similar are our teams!? It’s going to run close mate!
Just checked, you’re 8 points ahead and our teams are almost the same … looks like Pedro vs Costa this week!
Rosco
I was moving along well until last weeks problems ( 18 on bench ) and now i have to look at you and Mitro – well I am well prepared – but your Vardy / Kane switch was either brilliant or a real bugger !
