Welcome to World Cup 2nd Group Phase Live Match Chat. We now enter into the second round of games and some of us will have got off to a flying start. Others not so much, but however you are doing we still encourage you to partake in the chat. We are sure there will be plenty to discuss that doesn’t always involve whether you should get assist points for a shot that was blocked or your striker really did touch the ball a la Kane before it went in. Predictor games, brackets, bets on the golden boot are all welcomed here. And yeah, even old school footy chat for those that who are just watching the games for fun and just want to talk about the Joga Bonito.
So that you have them to hand, we will post a screenshot of the substitution rules, transfer allotment, wildcard, boosters and of course we will have times and dates for all matches in this, the first of three group phases/rounds/fixtures or whatever you want to call it.

Yeah Coutinho probably your best bet for Friday I reckon. Worth a roll with Lukaku as the safety net again.

Yeah I shouldn’t have ignored the Value, it was Ronnie + a 4.5 def or Costa + Ramos and Probably Would have kept Kimmich instead of ditching him for trippier… when I put it down in writing I question my sanity.. hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Morning everyone – bit of a pickle here with 6 pts from my captain and only Erik as the forward alternative. Would you change it and if Erik fails than gamble on at least one of the defenders matching Ronnie’s 6? That’s what I’m leaning to atm but would like to hear other opinions. Thx
Most of us are in the same predicament with 12 points from their current captain. I am sure many will try to better that score. I have the same points from Costa but most likely will chance Coutinho and if he fails it will be Lukaku. In your case if Eriksen doesn’t do it you can try Gudmundson tomorrow. Iceland looked really good last time and Nigeria are not at their best like before.

Hey DMC, I’d gamble. The way I see it this is not something to be taken very seriously. Even if Erik doesn’t deliver Meunier could easily keep a clean sheet and I believe Ridriguez takes pens.

Yeah, I concur, someone should at least get a cleanie here and, yes, Kop, Rodriguez takes penalties and that is why I decided to invest 5.5 in him instead of his defense partner Akanji whom is 4.5 (and a shrewd investment imo).
