Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 25. Lovely jubbly, another midweek game-week. There’s always something special about these. Whether it’s games under the lights or just that it breaks up the mundane working week we don’t know but either way they always feel special.

We begin with 3 games on Tuesday with Swansea unashamedly prepping London busses for Arsenal, Moyes spitting feathers in an attempt to find 11 available players to face Palace and Huddersfield fearing the worst against Klopp’s juggernaut.

And then we have a bumper Wednesday with 7 games, all done and dusted within a short few hours. Maybe it’s that finality that is so attractive, but then that may depend on on how it pans out for you. Either way, enjoy!

Wednesday itself sees Chelsea host Bournemouth with many simply waiting to see what Christensen’s latest comical way of lasting 59 minutes is, and screwing us all over in the process. Big Sam’s lumbering Everton host a newly invigorated Leicester, Newcastle and Burnley will probably play out an inevitable stalemate, Saints and Brighton have a derby (as such, just the small matter of 66 miles separating them!) and Spurs vs Man United could potentially be the game of the round. It could also very well be 0-0! And finally Watford’s fancy new Spanish manager Javi Gracia will no doubt fulfil a life long ambition of seeing whether he can indeed cut it on a cold Wednesday night in Stoke.

    Afternoon all.

Christiansen needs to go & mahrez could become a problem so need to sort them out. Currently playing 3-5-2 with Jordan ayew as cheap striker but thinking of changing to this.

Aubamayang won’t go up this gw so it will be a -4 over the next 2 weeks

    Thoughts

    Cheers

So who watched Spurs v United last night? How did Sanchez look? Sorely tempted to take a punt on him given his next two fixtures and low ownership. I’m looking at Mahrez & Christensen to Sanchez & Chilwell.

Would be for -4 btw. My rank has plummeted, thus I’m looking for differentials. Also why I brought in Hazard for last round. Walcott in for Lingard next round.

The Leicester RB and LB situation is complicated. If you take Chilwell just know you might be short a defender at any point, but if the end is Sanchez then I guess it is ok.

Sanchez not great last night, but we know his quality and before too long he will go forward and try to do everything after he grows tired of watching the waste of space Lukaku do nothing. Think Lingard could become a problem sooner rather than later, but we will see.

I watched it. Sanchez didn’t look all that good. Kept getting annoyed when Spurs nibbled at him. Must say I was impressed with Spurs. Outplayed United. Better tac tics too!

Cheers lads. Think I’ll get Simpson and Sanchez. Huddersfield and Newcastle are easier opponents than Spurs, so hopefully he’ll produce.

Prefer tic tacs myself Horse laugh

What do we think Lucas Moura’s role will be at Spurs? Will he come straight in and start or has he just been brought in for cover when someone is sick or injured? Trying to see if there is a Spurs alternative to Kane.
