Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 31

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 31. Blink and you’ll miss it, is probably the best way to describe GW31. Or blank GW31 as it is more commonly known. Just four fixtures survive the week due to the FA Cup quarter finals which are also taking place this week.

Three of our games take place at 3pm on Saturday as Bournemouth are the next to have shooting practice vs West Brom, Huddersfield welcome Crystal Palace and Everton get a chance to improve their away record as they go to Stoke.

Of more interest to most will be the evening kick off and the end of our game-week as Liverpool host Watford at Anfield. And that’s it!

Been having a think about wildcarding this week or next. Attached is my current team with a -4 transfer, and a side I’ve whipped up fairly quickly that I think will look similar to my WC side.

Obviously you can disagree with me in terms of whom I’ve picked, but I’ve mainly picked the sides playing both DGWs with a few with good fixtures (e.g. Arsenal). Given Tottenham and Chelsea play each other this week, I think I’m going to hold. Of course it depends who you had in for the BGW. Be interested to hear others’ thoughts on this.

    Which of these is better:

    1) Aubu, Mahrez, Smalling & Christensen
    2) Vardy, Mkhi, Valencia & Azpi

For the sake of this, please just assume Christensen is fit!

    Thanks.

So after 5 GW’s of pain the FF247 Lions are back to winning ways, to be honest with the Malaysian Tigers talking about playing their free hit chips this GW and FF247 players talking about saving it, i thought we were in for a bit of a stuffing, but that was not to be, the Tigers in total played 7 FH chips compared to 0 chips by us, 3 of the 7 failed to beat our non chippers, so the score is now 5-2 to the Tigers with 7 legs to go, so not much room for future failure!
Its going to be interesting over the next few GW’s with chips flying about everywhere, so lets hope we score big with them and put this series to bed!
