Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 34
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 34. Back to some semblance of normality, although even then we have a double game-week of sorts to contend with this week.
Once again we begin on Friday night, this time with a bubbling Leicester hosting a bumbling Newcastle.
Saturday sees six games in total. Spurs welcome Huddersfield in the early one before Brighton and Cardiff play the first of their ‘DGW’ games with Bournemouth visiting the former and Burnley hosting the latter. Relegated Fulham then welcome Everton and the Saints play a crest fallen Wolves. The late one on Saturday sees West Ham taking a trip to Old Trafford to play Man United.
The title race resumes on Sunday with Man City going first again as they visit Palace before Liverpool play catch up at home to Chelsea.
Watford and Arsenal are our Monday night entertainment before the DGW giants of Brighton and Cardiff clash on Tuesday evening.
The games in full…

The League Codes for FF247 for the 2018/19 season are as follows –
Its been such a horrible game week. I just wanna cry.
On 25 Points with triple brighton left.
1.) Triple Brighton
2.) Captained Duffy
3.) Removed Moura,Pogba and Sterling just before my final list
4.) Have Laca
5.) First Sub is Doherty with zero points
6.) Second Sub is TAA
7.) Have Deeney.
I just wanna cry – why is this game so cruel to me.
Put it down to a bad trip LSD – happens to us all.
So close to the end of the season…and on a wildcard…sigh.
Weeks like this can be a real bummer, LSD. Sometimes the Electric Kool Aid is just off.
Hopefully the fruity disco biscuits will turn this weekend’s trip more into a Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
Thanks Kralin.
I can only look forward to this weekend.
Or tomorrow. If Brighton keep a CS you’ll get loads of points.
Let’s cry together after the game IF captain Duffy doesn’t get a great score. Still, somehow it feels very good having capped a defender for the first time in my FPL career, feels like I could fly… Odd…
Look what I found
Feels odd looking at a -4 the week after play my wildcard… looking at this.
Eriksen and Deeney would be making way. Or am I better to go with sterling and bring in Salah for 36.
Better 3rd Stricker options welcome too
Or just keeping Eriksen? Spurs have a Brighton chaser after their three pints of City.
Wilson isn’t the worst of shouts for Deeney – in fact not far off the best, at that price – but I’d check to see if you want him for 36 and beyond.
Does Eriksen and Deeney to Mane and Firmino work for you?
I want to TC Salah in 36. So not really, not a bad shout though
Ok I now have two problems, Deeney and how to get a 3rd Liv for GW36. Sterling to Mane and Deeney to Wilson (-4) would solve this, but not keen on losing Sterling! Let’s hope the midweek games don’t bring further bad news.
Salah to Mane and Deeney to Firmino also works, that may have to be the sacrifice I make.
I’d probably go with mane, Bobby and sterling
Will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings. Either a heart-warming conclusion where Brighton save the day, not only winning handsomely to nil but doing so with flair and precision; or a nightmare, downbeat ending with multiple red cards, missed penalties, own goals, certain relegation.
But yes, no transfers until after Europe is wise. At least there’s no Friday deadline this week.
How’s these plans for some shits and giggles? Since this season hasn’t been making any sense and I’m not going to do anything in my ML, my OR is crap I’m going to wing it.
I’m going to do Gunn and Deeney to Foster and…. wait for it…. Shane Long because why the hell not?!
Long makes vague sense if you’re planning on 3/5/2 after 35.
Not the worst of moves (for the bench); his gametime is patchy at best. May be wiser to get someone a bit more nailed?
Honestly I’m not even caring just looking at cheapness! Want Mane for the Hudd game so getting Long allows that move to still go ahead
If I was really entering the zone of nihilism I think I’d get a Brighton or Cardiff striker, given how desperately they need to win.
If Spurs knock City out of Europe they may nod off sufficiently in the league to allow Murray to score an unlikely goal.
Because he’s Shane Long?
Mind you, two games is….well, massively overperforming so I can’t see him keeping that up!
I had planned to bring Deeney in for Murray – I’m now seriously considering Andre Gray instead, so I’ll join your ‘what a foolish move’ club
Like the above Robbo I’m just past the point of trying anymore haha
