Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW30

Welcome to Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW30.
So what did we learn this past game-week? Well Arsenal are still rubbish, perhaps that’s unfair on Brighton given their result the previous game-week, but come on, it’s 3 defeats on the bounce for the gunners now, what are the chances of it being 4 come next week? A fixture like Swansea v West Ham would have been a shoe-in for a low-score draw earlier in the season, but in recent weeks they’ve become somewhat unpredictable; a 4-1 defeat in GW28, a 4-1 win in GW29, will Huddersfield be able to keep the result respectable this week? Your guess is as good as (probably better) than mine.

This week we have two sets of winners, as we reveal the results of both GW’s 28 and 29:
In GW28 it was Shanec who came out on top with 14pts, thanks to his correct prediction of the first goal scorer – Nice work Shane! Only a point separated 2nd and 3rd place, Igy the runner-up on 10pts, closely followed by our very own enfant terrible, AT with 9pts.

Last week (GW29) it was Perun who grabbed top spot with an impressive 15pts, closely followed by everyone’s favourite kung-fu Panda Jeet who grabbed 2nd spot (13pts) and everyone’s favourite writer Bry took the final spot on the podium with a mighty close 12pts.

Init is still the top cock in the overall league table; do you have what it takes to knock him off top spot?

Thanks to everyone who entered, better luck next week everyone!

Congrats to Shanec and Perun, please contact FF247 at contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to get your hands on that FF247 t-shirt.

Weekly Leaderboard (GW28)

Winner = Shancec 14pts
2nd = Igy 10pts
3rd = 9pts

Weekly Leaderboard (GW29)

Winner = Perun 15pts
2nd = Jeet 13pts
3rd = Bry 12pts

Cumulative Overall League Table

This week’s competition
The rules are few; 1 entry per person, and all entries must be submitted prior to the first game of the game-week. Kick-off this week comes on Tuesday at 19.45. Once all the games have been played, we’ll count up the scores and the winner(s) will be announced in the following weeks competition article.

So just to recap all you need to do is copy and paste the fixtures from below, pop your score prediction on each and then tell us who you think will be the first goal scorer of the week. And that can be from any game regardless of your other predictions. Oh and if you say 1-0, you mean 1-0 to the home team. Not either team. Capiche?

Scoring
Correct Score = 3 points
Correct result = 1 point
Correct 1st goalscorer = 5 ponts
Points are awarded on an ‘either or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points or 1 point for a correct prediction, these are never added together for a 4 point score.

Here are the fixtures, best of luck to you all!

Saturday 10th March
Man Utd v Liverpool (12.30)
Everton v Brighton
Huddersfield v Swansea
Newcastle v Southampton
West Brom v Leicester
West Ham v Burnley
Chelsea v Crystal Palace

Sunday 11th March
Arsenal v Watford
Bournemouth v Tottenham

Monday 12th March
Stoke v Man City
