Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 38

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 38 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 And there it was gone. 37 weeks of sheer hell! For most anyway. Will the 38th be any better? Probably not! All logic seemed to go out of the window this time, taking with it the careful planning and attention to detail that most successful fantasy managers usually thrive on. Looking back it truly was the season of the underdog, ably accompanied by his close mate ‘Spoiler Dog’ as every best laid plan seemed to get scuppered at every single bloody turn, be it by an injury, a suspension, a rotation, a drugs test… On and on and on… to the point where we all just gave in and just had to finally laugh or cry. Always better to just laugh. On which point we did. Well, we did both didn’...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 37

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 37 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 The final DGW and perhaps the one last chance to either cement your mini-league aspirations or indeed achieve them, if things are still in the balance. We hope you made the right choices and wish you the best of luck but either way it’s too late to change now and all you can do is sit back and watch your fate unfold before your very eyes over the next 5 days! We have no less than 14 games to come with 8 of the teams playing twice so as always we welcome you to share your joy and anxieties, or just sheer bewilderment, as Klopp and co make or break your season with their astonishing team selections! The fixtures in full…

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 And so finally back to a ‘normal’ game-week. All teams play, they all play just once and there’s no silliness. Well, that’s the theory anyway. There probably will be some once the team sheets are revealed but let’s see. There will of course be silliness again next week as we have another DGW and there will definitely be silliness the week after as there always is on the final day of the season with some strange results, and there’s always the odd 7-0 thrown into the mix for good measure. Yes Villa, we are looking at you! For now though let’s hope GW36 treats us well… The fixtures in full…

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 35

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 35 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 And so from a week with many, many games in which so few players actually bothered to turn up to a week with far less games but hopefully more actual players. If that makes sense! GW35 is the one which has been commonly referred to as the ‘blank week’. So much so you’d be forgiven for thinking that all the fixtures had been cancelled, which of course isn’t the case. There are indeed 6 teams without a game this week but that means there are 14 who do still play. There may only be 7 games but they span 3 days and Man City kick us off on Saturday lunchtime when they host Stoke. Saturday is then a short affair with just the 3 games, all kicking off at 3pm before Sunday brings us Sunderl...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 34

And what a week we have in store – six days of football in a row, which has the potential to become the highest scoring game-week in FPL history, given the new chips that are on offer this season. Whether you are Bench Boosting, Triple Captaining one of your players are just playing as normal, then we wish you a brilliantly high-scoring week. Our game-week kicks off on Saturday lunchtime with a massive clash centred on the relegation battle as Norwich host Sunderland at Carrow Road. Just four 3pm matches follow, before Man City travel to Chelsea for what would normally be a title shoot out. But not this season! Sunday sees three matches, highlighted by Leicester’s aim to march to...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 32

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 32 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 GW32 is live! The last of the normal game-weeks before the silly season descends upon us with double and blank game-week’s ahead in abundance. And there we were thinking that it looked so simple, it couldn’t look any less so now if it tried. Everton are probably the flag bearers for the chaos that is about to ensue with a dodgy away fixture this week, then two doubles in a row followed by a blank and then two favourable home fixtures either side of yet another double! There are only actually 7 teams unaffected by the whole nonsense over the next few weeks and those include extremes of sweet and sour such as Leicester and Villa, with 5 in between those, so careful how you go and plan well! Onto ...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 31

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 31 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 GW31 is live! And we are back to a full game-week again after last weeks paltry showing of just 5 games. We have a full compliment this week again thankfully with 10 games spanning 2 days. We kick off with Everton hosting Arsenal on Saturday at 12.45pm, followed by four 3pm kick offs and finish Saturday off by wondering how many Swansea can smash past Villa at 5.45pm. Sunday concludes our game-week with no less than four games, the highlights from a fantasy point of view being the Manchester derby at 4pm and Spurs hoping to push home their title charge against Bournemouth at the same time. Let’s get to it all then and chat our way through GW31…
