FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 7 Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 7 Feast or famine We hope you like your football ‘Saturday heavy’! This may be a ‘DGW’ of sorts, and as such there are 11 fixtures, but 8 of them are on Saturday, with 3 in the 3 days that follow. Villa and Brighton kick us off at 12.30pm. That is then followed by no less than six 3pm games; Bournemouth v Arsenal, Everton v Luton, Man Utd v Palace, Newcastle v Burnley, West Ham v Sheffield Utd and Wolves v Man City. If that wasn’t enough excitement then Spurs and Liverpool face-off at 5.30pm. It’s then slow and sedentary each day. Sunday sees Brentford at Palace at 2pm. On Monday at 8pm we have Fulhham v Chelsea and then the ‘DGW’ concludes our weekend on Tuesday at 7.30pm...[Read More]

The first is a London derby as Crystal Palace welcome Fulham to Selhurst. Then we move north to Luton Town who play only their second ever home Premier League match against the Wolves of Wolverhampton. Further north still, Haaland & Co. sharpen their claws for the visit of the Tricky Trees of Forest. Brentford v Everton is on at 5.30pm to be followed by an 8pm Saturday night showdown at Turf Moor Burnley – with Manchester United the opposition. Due to TV and Eu...[Read More]

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 2

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 2 Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 2 We struggled thru’ GW1 with a heavy heart, in Jeff’s absence. Simon proved himself a worthy successor though, so I reckon we will be ok after all. Albeit that even he looked a little bored in the 1st half with the lack of any action or goals, but we did warn him! Let’s go see if Sky have given him anything more interesting to preside over this week… GW2 itself begins on Friday once more, this time with a tasty (?!) clash between Forest and Sheffield United. *checks what time Corrie is on No early game on Saturday so straight to Simon and he’s drawn the short straw again here we are afraid … just the 3 games, those being Fulham v Brentford, Liverpool v Bournemouth and Wolves v Bright...[Read More]

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 1

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 1 Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 1 And we go again… Saturday afternoons will never be the same without Jeff, but we shall plough on regardless. The selfish b@stard will no doubt be sunning himself in some far flung destination with a cocktail in his hand. If this was North Korea he’d have died in that chair. Maybe they do get some things right, after all.. And so, with potential death threat no.1 of the season out of the way, down to the action… We begin on Friday with Man City going to Burnley at 8pm. Get used to Friday’s as it looks like it is a thing again, at least for the opening month. Saturday begins with Arsenal already chasing, most likely, as they host Forest in the early game. Simon (Thomas) is our new Jeff at 3pm, he...[Read More]

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 37

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 37 Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 37 It’s yet another DGW! And don’t worry, it’s the last one now until deep into next season. This time it’s a bit Manchester heavy, with a splattering of Brighton (of course), and Chelsea (what’s the point). As for the games themselves we begin on Saturday with Brentford going to Spurs at 12.30pm, sans their main talisman. We’d bet Ivan’s house that Spurs win this one as a result, if only it was legal to do so. We have 4 four gasmes at 3pm with varying implications – Bournemouth vs Man Utd (Champions League for the latter), Fulham vs Palace (meh), Liverpool vs Villa (Champions League for the former) and Wolves vs Everton (relegation, gulp!). 5.30pm is laced with implicati...[Read More]

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 36

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 36 Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 36 It’s yet another DGW! Although this is a mini-one. Only Brighton and Newcastle double up but their game does mean that we go through to Thursday evening once more. We begin on Saturday with contrasting needs but with both Leeds and Newcastle battling for the win at 12.30pm. 5 fives at 3pm follow with Villa v Spurs, Forset off to Chelsea, Palace hosting Bournemouth, Wolves at Man U and Saints welcoming Fulham. And that is Saturday done with no later games this time. Sunday has the 3 with Brentford v West Ham & Everton v Man City at 2pm. The 4.30pm game sees Brighton go to Arsenal. Leicester and Liverpool have Monday to themselves at 8pm. Newcastle and Brighton finally get their 2nd go on Thursday at 7.30pm...[Read More]

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 35

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 35 Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 35 It’s another Bank Holiday footballing bonanza! OK, so it’s not quite as long as the last one, which has only just finished, but it’s still 3 days of games, all spread out so that just on the off chance you may get bored of King Charles’ shenanigans you should have an excuse to slip away for a bit. In fact 6 of the games are on TV (in the UK), including a rather controversial one at 3pm on Saturday, for the first ever time in a normal season. Saturday itself is not actually as spread out as we advertised but there are still 4 games at 3pm with Chelsea boring Bournemouth, Woy going to Spurs, a Wolves v Villa derby, and then that live game as Big Sam has to back up his Big Mouth and prove heR...[Read More]

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 34

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 34 Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 34 And so quickly into a DGW, we hope you found some time to prepare! Much like the last, this one also goes deep into the week, finishing on Thursday with games on 6 consecutive days from Saturday. Saturday itself is short and sweet with Palace vs West Ham in the early KO, before Brentord and Forest & Brighton and Wolves at 3pm. And that’s it! Sunday is much fuller this time with 2pm seemingly popular with no less than 4 games before Liverpool and Spurs see us out at 4.30pm. Just the one on Monday with Leicester and Everton having a relegation shoot-out. The ‘normal’ games finish on Tuesday with Chelsea going to Arsenal. The ‘DGW’ games begin on Wednesday with Liverpool vs Fulham and...[Read More]
