While Crystal Palace and Sunderland have yet to play, there are a few take-aways worth looking at from this week’s leader board. And while there aren’t too many surprises so to speak, it is as always interesting to see how the trends change and evolve week-by-week. For this week’s publication, I join your from the lovely city of Sofia, Bulgaria where games air 7 hours later than my standard NYC match times! (Well it’s actually the same time although I am in a different time zone). What’s great about ‘trends’ is the fact that they are trends… trends that evolve, dissipate, and adapt. It’s hard to believe that just a couple weeks ago 100% of the top managers had Aguero and now, yet understandably, 0% of the leaders have him on their team. Trends From The Top A look to Gameweek 36 Welcome to this week’s edition of Trends From the Top. This week’s publication is somewhat premature as Arsenal and Hull have yet to play, but after looking at the top 10 and their respective standings, it would be surprising if major upheavals were to ensue. Our leader, Simon March of Atletico Marchid** has remained in the number one position for 12 weeks and currently has a 27 point advantage over his closest competitor. While his claim to the title is not yet confirmed as it is with Chelsea, Simon has played a cool, calm and strategic game.
