Italy
Buffon; Chiellini, Barzagli, Bonucci; De Rossi, Giaccherini, Parolo, Darmian, Candreva; Pelle, Eder
Belgium
Courtois, Ciman, Alderweireld, Vermaelen, Vertonghen, Witsel, Nainggolan, Fellaini, De Bruyne, Hazard, R. Lukaku
That’s clever I put Denyar in earlier & he’s not starting thought you had to make all changes before the first game of the day I’ve lost a massive 2 points could be crucial 😉
That’s a bummer
Cookie Is that right can you sub players in out during match days say after first game or not ?
No mate – the deadline for the day is kick off for the first match of that day – you had it right, just unlucky he isn’t playing.
Who else had Giaccherini in their team at one point but took him out? :p
Yep!
Yup. OOP…don’t even remember why i took him out?
The Italians certainly know how to defend but this is a very slow game To many stars maybe in the Beligum team 😉
Cracking goal from Pelle & Belgium left bottom of group , who would of thought that
Not usually one to brag but can someone please ask me if I made Giaccherini captain tonight!
Got to thank whoever wrote the guide for Italy for saying he was an OOP
That was DMC. Even called out his goal scoring record. Hats off.
Nice darts Hammers!
In that case Thank you DMC
Goal scoring record was a long shot though -as he hadn’t scored for the national team for over 2 years.
Not that I’m complaining
Well the goal scoring record was actually from this season at Serie A Bolognia!
Cracking stuff hammers & spot on by DMC 😉
Ah! That’s great news hammers! He’s a shrewd investment surely. Some of us may have not gone with him given that he plays in the last days of the group stages and thus not allowing the gamble. Were Italy on day 1 or 2 and this guy would have been in everybody’s team. Well done for sticking with him and indeed capo him! 22 pts from a 5.0 defender! ouch!
DMC you are a legend.
Although I do have to admit that he was only my captain for something to do as my other 2 Choices have been crap.
He was only keeping the captain spot warm until I put it on ronaldo tomorrow, safe to say that’s not happening now.
Yeah that’s the gamble with this sytem, you can punt away and eventually someone will nail it! I had Giroud, Alli, Muller, Forsberg… Cristiano must do the job now!
