There seems to be a lot of players with Ron here but everyone was against him before kick off why the sudden chance ?????
Hehe, see my comment just!
Playing last on every match day was a big swing for me, if all else fails trust in Ronny.
I wasn’t overly fussed before the tournament and that was down to Portugal managing just 11 goals in qualifying. Despite what DMC may say ( 😉 ) he looked ok the other night and could really have scored 2 and assisted one at least. GP summed it up really when Kop was deciding whether to cap him the other night. It didn’t quite work out but it was something to the effect of who’s the one player who could suddenly score a hat-trick out of nothing. And nobody would be overly surprised if he did. I was just too nervous not having the other day and got away with it, just.
I agree Init just wine Wed an injury & a none player changed my mind otherwise I would have swapped Lew for him , but Lew is another player cable of getting big points but against Germany I very much doubt just jealous 😉
Init I forgot to say Austria need the points but have lost a key player at the back so could make the difference 😉
That was considered also. The player that is, not your wine!
I believe Austria will play tight at the back and try to nick one. A draw keeps things open for them while a defeat probably means the end. Much will depend on the previous iceland-hungary game though, of course. It seems that 4 points assures the knock-out stages.
Well, what can I say. We always expect big things from him and we get pissed when he loses opportunities like the one he did the other night, in the first half. He also did set up Nani and that should’ve been a goal. And then there was of course that poor second half header. Besides those almost crucial fantasy moments, he didn’t look sharp and or particularly inspired as many other didn’t. But he doesn’t get to be uninspired. He is supposed to be the one that shows up when things are not great and he didn’t in this instance. Thus why me saying that he was one of the worst, given his potential vs actual play on that day. But you did well to buy him given the importance of Saturday’s game. He just needs to get one in. Hopefully it will be against the Austrians! There’s talks of changes in the side by the way, in case anybody cares.
As long as it’s not him or the keeper then no not really! Got that Guerreiro bloke too I suppose if I need him by then. He at risk?
Patricio and Guerreiro are safe, surely. Ronaldo I’m not sure, you see we have Eder up front and raring to go!
Told you you should have brought Helder
Ronaldo will not reward any of us as a Captain pick until the knockout stages.
History shows this
Potty
Bookmarked for Saturday

Well, he did scored 2 against Holland in the 3rd game of the euro 2012 group stage. Where’s Holland when you need them? :hippo:
Potty picks and chooses his history then obviously! But yeah – Where is Raz?!
And anyone suggest a Captain for me for today, please? I have Dier, Howedes, Ali, Gotze and Muller playing today.
Thank you, in advance ?
Gotze or Muller. I’d probably go Muller but either is just as likely to score really.
Muller for me. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Gotze on the bench today.
Oh god… I already have Stanciu who didn’t play, yesterday. No Payet, no Rami. Could use a Gotze goal
Muller for me too, he didn’t have the best game last time but he always seems to show up for the big matches
Thank you
Ozil or Muller as captain?
Muller
Cheers Silvers I was leaning that way. It’s just the late assist last game making me wonder about Ozil.
To be fair Matt either would be ok but I thk Muller has more goals in him but this will be a tight game.
Yeah I’m hoping Muller gets a few goals in this tournament. I have him for top goalscorer and right now a ton of defenders are ahead of him!! I’d say this will be a 0-0, 1-1 or 1-0 game probably it’ll be like the qualifiers.
Wrong capo choice again last night! Should have just went Payet! Today I’ve got Ozil, Lewa, Ali and Kane I’m not sure which way to go!?
I’d go with Ozil. With all the talk about dropping Kane it’ll be the one time Roy listens to people.
England vs Wales, The Gold Cup and the US Open golf, Essex vs Gloucester – what a great day ahead!
The Gold Cup? Is that not on earlier in the year?
Gold Cup at Royal Ascot today
Any tips Cook? 😉
Yeah – England will beat Wales, Essex will win and Dustin Johnson will win the US Open. I don’t follow horse racing at all, so wouldn’t know about that one!
Oh right, I’ve no interest in horse racing.
Haha yeah I don’t really follow it either
Clever Cookie 10/1 in the Gold Cup 4.20. 3rd favourite at the mo.Get on it!
No! 😉
I’m on it! Hope there’s no fences involved in this or we may have a problem
Right then, come on Cookie, giddy up #nopressure Go, go, go :hippo:
ah……
I think Wales got further forward than our four-legged friend
