There seems to be a lot of players with Ron here but everyone was against him before kick off why the sudden chance ?????

Playing last on every match day was a big swing for me, if all else fails trust in Ronny.

I wasn’t overly fussed before the tournament and that was down to Portugal managing just 11 goals in qualifying. Despite what DMC may say ( 😉 ) he looked ok the other night and could really have scored 2 and assisted one at least. GP summed it up really when Kop was deciding whether to cap him the other night. It didn’t quite work out but it was something to the effect of who’s the one player who could suddenly score a hat-trick out of nothing. And nobody would be overly surprised if he did. I was just too nervous not having the other day and got away with it, just.

      • Silvers says:

I agree Init just wine Wed an injury & a none player changed my mind otherwise I would have swapped Lew for him , but Lew is another player cable of getting big points but against Germany I very much doubt just jealous 😉

      • Silvers says:

Init I forgot to say Austria need the points but have lost a key player at the back so could make the difference 😉

        • inittowinit says:

That was considered also. The player that is, not your wine!

        • DMC says:

I believe Austria will play tight at the back and try to nick one. A draw keeps things open for them while a defeat probably means the end. Much will depend on the previous iceland-hungary game though, of course. It seems that 4 points assures the knock-out stages.

      • DMC says:

Well, what can I say. We always expect big things from him and we get pissed when he loses opportunities like the one he did the other night, in the first half. He also did set up Nani and that should’ve been a goal. And then there was of course that poor second half header. Besides those almost crucial fantasy moments, he didn’t look sharp and or particularly inspired as many other didn’t. But he doesn’t get to be uninspired. He is supposed to be the one that shows up when things are not great and he didn’t in this instance. Thus why me saying that he was one of the worst, given his potential vs actual play on that day. But you did well to buy him given the importance of Saturday’s game. He just needs to get one in. Hopefully it will be against the Austrians! There’s talks of changes in the side by the way, in case anybody cares.

Ronaldo will not reward any of us as a Captain pick until the knockout stages.

And anyone suggest a Captain for me for today, please? I have Dier, Howedes, Ali, Gotze and Muller playing today.
    Thank you, in advance ?

    Ozil or Muller as captain?

    Rosco77 says:

Wrong capo choice again last night! Should have just went Payet! Today I’ve got Ozil, Lewa, Ali and Kane I’m not sure which way to go!?
