  1. Who should I captain? Morata, Perisic or Alba? Also should I sub Strinic in for Ozil or Dzemaili can’t really do much worse than 2 points?

    • I’d give Perisic a spin. Do you have Ronnie as back up? And yes to the sub for certain. Didn’t Ozil get 3? Do the other bloke out then as he got 2 didn’t he?

    • Matt, I assume you don’t have payet or anyone with relevant points as capo right now. If that’s the case, I’d change Perisic over morata and alaba. Morata may come good, but he got subbed out and while perisic also did, it was for a slight knock. Also the Czechs will probably attack or at least I can’t see them sitting as deep as they did against spain, while turkey will probably just play for a draw, meaning perisic could become a gold mine. The more I see of him, the more I see him in the premier league next year.

      • Hey DMC. I have Payet but sadly I went for Giroud as capo instead. I’m captaining Perisic tomorrow I think be should be alright I fancied him before the tournament let’s hope he finally repays that faith.

  2. lads, would you bring perisic in for giroud seeing as hes already played an extra game or bring him in for quaresma?

    • You bring him in for Giroud, end of story. Queresma’s game isn’t until Saturday.

      • tempted by silva too, could do giroud and quaresma > perisic and silva, worth it?

        • i have 1 more emergency transfer and its either quaresma out for a mid or rodriguez out for a defender with an eye on the upcoming france match..

        • adam, why are you discussing gw3 when 12 teams are yet to play in gw2?

  3. well because if i got rid of rodriguez for a guy that plays twice from now till end of the group stage that could be beneficial right considering he has france? im on the sun game so you can make transfers whenever you like as long as you do no more than 3 a week. Would you get rid of quaresma then and deal with rodriguez with one of my 3 emergency transfers next week?

    • I have no idea how that game runs mate, sorry.

    • Sorry adam, you should have said it was a different game and format. I think I still stand by the Giroud thing though as he only has 1 game left and may well be dropped for it anyway whereas Queresma still has 2 assuming he gets selected which I think he may do but DMC will tell you better on that one.

      • Yeah, it’s anybody’s guess at the moment really.
The word is Quaresma would’ve played instead of Nani if it wasn’t for a late minor injury to Quaresma. However, having payed, and scored, and indeed been one of our best players, it’s unlikely that he drops Nani.
There’s a possibility for a front trio of Ronaldo, Nani and Quaresma but that would mean a change in the system which probably will not happen in this second game. Fernando always starts in 4-4-2 and it’s only during the games that he changes (rarely) to 4-3-3. So, in other words, don’t bet on Quaresma to play from the off. Do expect him to come in if we need goals.

  4. Good Day …
    Anyone play 7s ???

  5. Lads,

Good and Bad yesterday. England won !! Woo Hoo and managed to win a cheeky bet on England winning 2-1 and bad for my team this week as the points haven’t been satisifying. I had Giroud captain the first day, changed it to Muller yesterday (disappointing).. Any suggestions on who I need to captain today ?

    • I’ve gone with Perisic if that helps

    • Out of those I’d fancy my chances with Mandzukic, especially if you have any relevant hidden guns on the bench for the last day. If not, well, Mandzu anyway and then all in on Alaba if he fails.

  6. Morning!!

Who should I go with as cappo?
