And we’re very nearly there. Just a bit of last minute tinkering before it all begins and another summer of wondering when England will be home will be over in about a week or so! We’ve opened the discussion a bit early so feel free to post up those last minute Rate My Teams and post any questions you have on any of the squads or potential team selections. We are blessed with a truly international community so we are sure you will get some answers to almost any concern you may have. Questions regarding what the Dutch are doing this summer are summarily banned though. Oh ok, who are we kidding. First to get Raz to come out from under his anti-Euro blanket wins a t-shirt!
As ever, just as with FPL – post your scores, your match comments, your highs, your lows or just whatever you’re about to have for dinner. Don’t forget that you can make team changes daily with captains altered as well as line-up swaps as no doubt the site screwing up your changes as per every year but either way get involved as usual. It’s sure to be a fun ride. And please, please, whatever you do – don’t let Init win it again…

Out for dinner with friends last night so I missed the second half of Iceland and all the Portugal match. I understand Ronaldo messed up again?
Anyhow, my team with my proposed move of Candreva to Kross …..

Team looks good as is don’t see the need for anything else. Maybe next move should be Prodl out but not a must.
Austria themselves could be out by then Matt.
I’ve actually had a rethink and to cover captain bases I may bring in Sturridge for Manzukic instead and gamble on Candreva.

Well none of my changes will save so maybe they’re right
Who would you bring in for Giroud? Sturridge, Stancu, Lukaku?? I have 10 Mil when I sell Giroud.
if giroud starts I’d leave him and change Strinic, with 5.5 in the kitty I’d maybe double up on Portugal against Hungary.
Saying that you’ve already got the double, I’d still shift Strinic for an alternative defender over Giroud though.
Hmm what do you think about Strinic to Alderwiereld against the Swedes?
I’ve not seen much of either to be honest, Kyle walker has probably been the most threatening defender to get something going forward but a CS might be a bit of a stretch.
Yeah the Swedes have been terrible but the Belgians have been to just the Swedes don’t have much attacking threat this tournament. Walker could be good and Slovakia aren’t the great could be an option.
IF Giroud doesn’t start, I would look to Sturridge personally Matt. Decent captain material for day two I think.
Yeah if Giroud doesn’t start then I’ll be bringing Sturridge in for him if he does start I might just make Strinic to Walker.

If you went England for England (Kane to Sturridge /Vardy) you would have a forward you could captain on day 2.

Final group games are always at the same time Matt. It’s so no team gets an advantage.
They have to so we don’t get a repeat of Germany Austria 82 where two teams both know before the game that a draw will see them through.
Nothing wrong with a little match fixing. It actually helps good fantasy managers.
