  1. I have Sommer on my bench from my wildcard this morning laugh Gonna bring him off the bench when the subs go live as Buffon has the injured sign? and he won’t beat 7 smile

    • You can’t bring players who have already played off the bench mate, you’ll be stuck with whatever points Buffon makes unless you don’t make any subs at all and Buffon doesn’t play, that way you can get automatic substitutions to kick in.

    • I think you’ll only get his points if Buffon doesn’t start as you can’t sub in players yourself if they’ve already played?

    • It’s not the pick ‘n mix at Woolies mate! You’re stuck with Buffon unless you choose not to manually sub anyone else. And Buffon doesn’t play.

  2. haha because you could sub every night I just thought it meant every players. No worries! laugh

  3. Morning all big changes for England it looks like
Rooney is set to be replaced by Jordan Henderson, now fully recovered from a knee injury, and Jack Wilshere will also be integrated into a new-look midfield three in which Eric Dier is the only survivor. The Tottenham Hotspur full-backs Kyle Walker and Danny Rose will also be given a breather, having illuminated the tournament so far, with Hodgson confident Nathaniel Clyne and Ryan Bertrand will have a similar positive impact.

Daniel Sturridge and Jamie Vardy, who were introduced at half-time against Wales and scored the goals which won that match, are to start. Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Raheem Sterling are the other players who drop to the bench.

It may be considered risky to start Wilshere and Henderson given their respective fitness issues in the buildup to the tournament. Eyebrows will also be raised at the omission of Rooney when it was felt he would benefit from more matches in a relatively unfamiliar position before, England hope, they face elite opponents in the knockout rounds.

  4. Albania winning Romania is already a great feat for them but making it to the last 16 with 3 points will just be amazing stuff.
I’ve taken a peak at the standings and there’s every possibility that at least group’s E and F third place will be below 3 pts.. Others will surely have 3rd place teams with 3 pts but in that case it could come down to goal difference and that’s when that 90+5 payet goal could affect them. Fair play to them anyway.

    • Aye, I thought the new format would be boring with the three teams (possibly) going through but to be fair it’s made the group stages that little bit more exciting, people might not like the amount of changes that we’re about to see in teams but I think it’s great for fantasy as I like a heavy dose of the unexpected.

    • I’ll be very surprised if 3rd place in the Irish group (E) gets through.

      • Yeah, Ireland and Sweden would need to win their games for that to happen.
It’s that or Sweden winning Belgium and Ireland not winning Italy. In that case, Belgium would probably go through with 3 pts ahead of Albania and some other 3rd place country.

  5. Believe it or not I’ve been looking at the FPL fixtures & rotations this morning not a great season for me last season , so dare I say it I need to plan ahead 😉

    • You might be interested in this then. It’s the Fixture Tracker for the first 6 games…

      https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/fixture-tracker/

      • Already printed these out Init & done a bit of research on the promoted teams. I backed Ars for the league last season but my money will be on City this yr.

    • Yeah i’ve been having a look at the fixtures myself. Siggy looks a shoe-in for the first couple at least. United have a decent schedule too.

      • Yes NIN Siggy or Gomis as a 3rd fwd (cheap as chips) , & I will probably take a def in case I need 1 😉

        • Not sure i’d be too interested in Gomis after last seasons long drought laugh Defo Siggy if priced well though, could be a good play for the first two games

        • Yes NIN I don’t like Gomis but could work for the first 2 games or maybe Wickham will be another cheap fwd.

        • I cant remember their fixtures but if he can stay fit for more than five minutes he might be worth a look.
