We’ll have we been here before England dominating play & I won’t say it. Thk Wilshere & Bretrand have been are worse players & Clyne exceptional , Come on the England smile

Slo where absolutely crap all they did is def not much different than how Wales played against us I thk we still have a chance against anyone we face 😉

      inittowinit says:

Difficult when the opposition just sit with 11 behind the ball. We played well given that situation. No incentive for them to do anything else as soon as Russia went down.

      NIN says:

It will be interesting to see who they get. I assume they will have to play a group winner… or would that be for the third placers?

      • Andy says:

We get the runners up from F I think, more than likely Hungary as I’d fancy Portugal and Austria to win the last group games but anything can happen.

        • NIN says:

That’s a good group to be paired with. None of those are particularly strong but Austria could be hard to break down.

        • NIN says:

Thought you’d like that one alright 😉

        • DMC says:

yeah I get you comment, given the results, but, there’s always a but, I’m curious, did you watched these two games?

        • NIN says:

Not the last one but i watched the Iceland game.

        • inittowinit says:

From what I’ve seen Portugal have had the same problem with those teams as we had tonight in terms of lack of ambition from the opposition and therefore little space to work in. It’ll be the same story in the next round then. Tons of possession but it’s just if you can catch a break here or there and grab a goal. Get one and you’re sorted as they then need to come out. Don’t, as we haven’t, and they won’t.

        • DMC says:

That’s true Init, hungary will not be hungry so We may find ourselves In the same situation. I see where you’re coming from NIN the Iceland game was a poor one from us, especially after conceeding, which was the whole second half. Against austria though it was very different. More posession in dangerous are, several important saves from the keeper and of course the missed penalty. Austria were lucky here so I’m not too concerned. We’ll see but as it stands We’ll probably top the group with a win and play belgium on the Last 16.
