Euro 2016 Fantasy Football Live Match Chat – The Knockout Phase
Just as the UK votes on a possible Brexit, the group stages at Euro 2016 have been completed with some unfortunates already on their way home, while all the Home Nations secured to Remain for a while longer as England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland all qualified for the round of 16. You will notice a few changes to the fantasy game, so please allow us to run you through them so you are fully up-to-speed.
Price changes – some players price has increased, but only by a minimal amount it would appear. For example Dimitri Payet’s price has risen from 8.0mln to 8.1mln!! So, nothing to get too worried about.
As a result, your budget has increased by 5mln to 105mln, which not only reflects the price changes but also the fact that most of the smaller teams and cheaper players are no longer available due to them being knocked out, hence there are less budget options available.
Transfers – for this round you have an unlimited amount of transfers. For the quarter-finals you will have 4 free transfers, for the semi-finals you will have 6 free transfers and for the final you will have 6 free transfers.
Team personnel – you can now select four players from a single team for the round of 16, followed by five players for the quarter-finals, six for the semi-finals and eight for the final.

Morning everyone
What a match last night. One of the best I thought of a relatively drab tournament.
Wales are playing well enough and are carrying enough luck to win this you know. At 2-1 last night Belgium should have had two penalties I thought. I hope the fortune carries because they deserve the final based on their brilliant attacking play and overall togetherness and attitude.
Now, who has them in the work sweep
No Ramsey sort of takes twenty percent away of their chances to win versus Portugal. It is really sad.
Not sad at all. Not for me. Me and the Welsh don’t mix well, so I’m a Portugeezer.
I saw the Welsh celebrate after Iceland defeated England. Do the UK countries even like each other? 😉
Morning my lovelys!
Well I’m currently on 5 players that need replacing for the semis! A German and French win will put me at 6 wgich would be grand… The opposite results will see me with 11!! Ha ha lets hope ze Germans and les blues do the business!!
Question today is do I stick with 10 points haz or throw caution to the wind and stick it on Drax, hector or Gia! Given that my last 3 captains got 2 pointers I may just stick!
Can’t wait for FPL to start, the euros have been a nice bit of fun but I’m ready for the serious stuff! Going to be good for me as its a way of staying in touch with the Prem now my boys are in the championship! Sad to see Townsend go but happy with the buys so far!
Rosco
Stick mate. I would. That could prove to be a decent captain total when you consider Germany v Italy could be very tight and likewise Iceland will be trying to go the distance with France.
And Matt Ritchie should be a quality signing. Look after him for Scotland please. Easily our most threatening player just now.
Yeah I’m thinking today might go to pens! Hopefully a good game! Enjoyed last nights match even though i wanted Belgium to win!!
Go for it Rosco! Two chances of a goal (or clean sheet) that will beat Haz’s total – have some balls fella!!
Ha ha this is why I love you cookie.. You talk to my riskier side!! Will think on it!!
Haha you know you want to! If you can guarantee that you won’t be tempted to capo a Froggie tomorrow then maybe stick.
But i’ll defo be skippering a Frog tomorrow so may as well have a gamble today and if it pays off then happy days!
Rosco, don’t tell him but in this instance I’d agree with Cookie
I’ll be taking the armband off of Hazard myself. However I haven’t taken this seriously so it’s probably best to stick
Love you Kop
Back at you Cookie
Kop
Hates horse racing, doesn’t like Guinness and taking risks?
F.A.O. Admin – Kop’s account has been hacked.
Only explanation.
Also he’s now agreeing with Cook!!
I think it’s obvious Cookie is the hacker
GP, the only thing that isn’t normal is the fact I’m taking a risk 😉 but don’t worry my risk averse approach will return on August 13th.
Agreeing with Cookie!!!!!!!! Matt, you might actually be on to something
See he’s gone all quick now because we’re on to him
haha
STFU :hippo:
:big-lol:
To be honest, i’d agree with Kop on horse racing. But not Guinness.
Yeah I might gamble it’s all a bit of fun till the serious stuff starts with FPL!!
Morning all or is it morning still , struggling a bit today with a party to go to tonight this is putting a dent in me watching the football if France go out Tm I,ll have 3 players left oh well at least Wales are though.
Afternoon all, this is a week in the life of Silvers.

Martini Monday.
Tia Maria Tuesday.

Sherry Saturday. :big-lol:
:big-lol:
Ah well with Milik and De Bruyne failing badly with the pressure of the armband if comes down to Draxler today. If he fails then a choice between Payet and Griezmann with the latter edging it I think.
Hey Kruz, Bild are reporting that Draxler might start on the bench! I can’t see that happening myself but you might want to keep an eye on the teams.
Cheers Kop. I am out early tonight but hope to be back before kickoff and will change if Draxler is benched. Down to Kroos,Hector or Giaccherrini so it looks like my armband misery will go on! Griezmann to the rescue tomorrow.
