Euro 2016 Fantasy Football Live Match Chat – The Knockout Phase
Just as the UK votes on a possible Brexit, the group stages at Euro 2016 have been completed with some unfortunates already on their way home, while all the Home Nations secured to Remain for a while longer as England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland all qualified for the round of 16. You will notice a few changes to the fantasy game, so please allow us to run you through them so you are fully up-to-speed.
Price changes – some players price has increased, but only by a minimal amount it would appear. For example Dimitri Payet’s price has risen from 8.0mln to 8.1mln!! So, nothing to get too worried about.
As a result, your budget has increased by 5mln to 105mln, which not only reflects the price changes but also the fact that most of the smaller teams and cheaper players are no longer available due to them being knocked out, hence there are less budget options available.
Transfers – for this round you have an unlimited amount of transfers. For the quarter-finals you will have 4 free transfers, for the semi-finals you will have 6 free transfers and for the final you will have 6 free transfers.
Team personnel – you can now select four players from a single team for the round of 16, followed by five players for the quarter-finals, six for the semi-finals and eight for the final.

I’m on the Payet/girou combo and will capo Payet. Between him and Griez it’s a coin toss really. Maybe Payet, he’s on penos no? Iceland have conceeded 2 of those already!

Afternoon fellas, I haven’t changed my capo since Nani the other day and since then Ramsey has got 2 assists and Ozil got a goal so should I finally change it to Payet, Lloris or Koscielny?? Or just leave it be and accept the points I already got?

What a match yesterday, glad I missed the first half since appaerantly again nothing happened in it. The Italians didn’t start till the were 1-0 behind, suddenly you see they can do more. These Euros are all about not losing games, instead of winning games. Thus the annoying penalty shootouts. Pelle was too f-ing arrogant versus Neuer, idiot. Now I think about it, the two EPL players from Italy missed (Pelle and Darmian) und Schweini. I guess, the English curse also gets to you when just playing in England. 😉
Anyway, keep the fate, hoping for a final between Wales and Iceland. HAHA! The rest will be a borefest. 😉
