Euro 2016 Fantasy FootballJust as the UK votes on a possible Brexit, the group stages at Euro 2016 have been completed with some unfortunates already on their way home, while all the Home Nations secured to Remain for a while longer as England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland all qualified for the round of 16. You will notice a few changes to the fantasy game, so please allow us to run you through them so you are fully up-to-speed.
Price changes – some players price has increased, but only by a minimal amount it would appear. For example Dimitri Payet’s price has risen from 8.0mln to 8.1mln!! So, nothing to get too worried about.
As a result, your budget has increased by 5mln to 105mln, which not only reflects the price changes but also the fact that most of the smaller teams and cheaper players are no longer available due to them being knocked out, hence there are less budget options available.

Transfers – for this round you have an unlimited amount of transfers. For the quarter-finals you will have 4 free transfers, for the semi-finals you will have 6 free transfers and for the final you will have 6 free transfers.

Team personnel – you can now select four players from a single team for the round of 16, followed by five players for the quarter-finals, six for the semi-finals and eight for the final.

  1. as u can see i have 7 unavailable players in the semi… so any suggestion regarding the transfers would be very much appreciated

    • Hochoki, you could possibly consider leaving Ramsey on the bench in the hope Wales make the final and using your transfers on the other 6.

    • Hey Hochoki,I’m in the exact same position as yourself with nearly the exact same personnel to be replaced.

      I am leaving Meunier on my bench so I don’t need to take a hit and I think Pazdan is dearer than Meunier but I could be wrong.

      The only transfer I am 100% doing is Fabianski to Rui Patricio. I’m looking at having 3 players from each team with one or two extra.

      • I should probably explain that I’m leaving Meunier and not Ramsey on the bench so I can maximise the attacking players for the next round.

    • Pick which teams you think will make the final and then load up on them. It’s only two teams.

  2. That depressing moment when you realize you never took the mince out of the freezer (not a euphemism). So, I have two options, help me please…

    1. Hit the chipper and get a sloppy burger (not a euphemism)

    2. Beat myself around the head with said frozen mince until I lose consciousness.

  3. Do transfers carry over at this stage?

    Have Giaccherini still to go but I’ve all bases covered on all 4 teams and would rather save a transfer as not quite sure who’ll be in the final and could do with the extra FT then.

  4. Any think gotze will play up front for the Germans seeing as Gomez is out?

    • He may do but hasn’t done anything yet.I have gone for Muller to break his duck.

      • Muller hasnt really done anything either tbh, Got my forwards sorted anyway.

        I was just thinking Gotze as he is classed as a midfielder

    • You were one of the few remaining true regulars not to actually have one! I take it that it was the e-mail issue in the end?

      • Yes, that was the final frontier as I had thrown away the email address i signed up with and forgotten about it.
        Took the picture and uploaded it but nothing came up.Forgot about it then tried again with G rating the picture and nothing happened. Went back and cropped the picture and finally got in touch with the “Happiness Engineers” at WordPress to see what I was doing wrong So with their help and yours, success was finally achieved!!

        • Yeah that’s what I was thinking but every time someone asked how to do it I would have another try.Ant the Evertonian asked how to and his grav appeared so I had to persevere until mine showed as well. Anyway,something to do while waiting for the FPL to come on line and I am no longer one of the few without the grav. I hope I never have to change it!!

    • You need a grav as well come to think of it smile

    • I actually thought it was quite good too, the look of it. Currently being told it looks sh1t on a different chat! Didn’t strike me as looking odd anyway. Maybe if they persist with the fluorescent green thing throughout it may a bit too much. These guys don’t often get much wrong though so I’m sure it’ll be just fine.
