Good Evening and welcome to the launch of my Summer Competition. Given as UEFA have left all us good fantasy folk stranded with no actual competition to play I thought I would step forward to try and fill the void a bit with my own little competition, just to keep us entertained. The competition is based on the Under 21 European Tournament which starts on Friday 16th June. Screw UEFA then, let’s get on with it…

Your aim is to gather as many points as possible, its that simple.
Follow this link to the UEFA site to find all you need to know when selecting your men who’ll hopefully bring you European Glory (then click on the Under 21 tab).

Lets Play ‘Its A Pre-Tournament Gamble’

The Rules.
A – Select 5 players from any position you wish.
B – Highlight one as your Captain (C) for double points.
C – Your men may come from just one of the Under 21 teams or a pick and mix from any.
D – Your five man team must be picked ahead of the tournament starting, hence its all a Potty gamble.
E – There will be two groups which I’ll draw on Monday at 9pm, with the top four after the group stage is complete making the semi-finals stage.

The Potty Points System!!!!
All your players will gain points as follows…

Appearance (and even off the bench) = 15pts
Goalkeeper/Defender cleansheet = 25pts
Goalkeeper/Defender conceeding = -10pts per goal
Any player making an assist = 20pts per assist
Any player scoring = 30pts per goal
Yellow or Red Card flashed = -5pts & -8pts respectively.

Now pick your 5 star men from these teams…

Poland
England
Slovakia
Sweden
FYR Macedonia
Portugal
Serbia
Spain
Czech Republic
Italy
Denmark
Germany

The 1st part of the competition, and your 5 picks as per above, are for the group stages only. You will get to pick a different squad after that but stay tuned for details should you qualify that far.

So do a wee bit of research then post those men of yours below.

    Kop remains top but the wolves are gathering smile

        • Yeah I did it last night that’s why he dropped in rank today 😉

    • Not sure how long I can hold on…

      • Next 2 days are key I think Kop. Quite a few different players selected looking around randomly. After that it bottle necks considerably again.

      • It’s getting cosy up top!

        • It’s getting tense and interesting! You two have Williams. I don’t. I have Selke instead. Kop and I are on Guedes capo, you’re on Meyer. I have him but Kop doesn’t.

          I can see this coming down to the final with a good few still in with a shout.

        • It’s good that we all have a few different players, keeps it interesting!!
          I wanted to keep Selke after having him the last 2 game weeks but took the punt on Williams as I couldn’t decide what mids I wanted if I ditched one of the Germans!

  2. Hi guys I have not been able to log in or follow anything for5 days.
    When I do so I am 2 days behind.
    I have tried many things but nothing woks

    I have just found that if I go into. HELP top right it gives help imfo on problems but on right hand side it shows up to date comments, if I click onto the bottom of that it takes me in, I have now been able to send you this message ( I hope )
    I am lost with not know what is going on.
    Can you help.

    • Hi Alan, firstly apologies for that. Won’t go into it as it’s explained at the top of the site. We’ve identified an issue with the Latest Comments thing. Some people were seeing an old version and it was causing log in issues too. We’ve literally just swapped it so hopefully that’s what you can now see and hence you being able to finally log in. It should look different. I’ll attach a pic of what you should be seeing. If you’re not seeing that then you need to clear the history for FF247 on your device and try again. Let me know.

      • That’s from an hour ago but basically the Latest Comments layout should look like that as opposed to the old one as per pic…

    After I sent last post I went out and back in and I came in at JUNE 16th.
    Repeated on HELP and came back to you

    • Have you cleared all your site history mate? What are you on, phone, laptop, PC etc?

    I had exactly the same problem as u mate
    same time period too..
    Emailed the ff247 boss and there seems to be some glitches due to site update I think..
    Me working fine now tho.

    • All good as in you can now see the updated version? Hope so mate. Always great to hear from you, I almost cried earlier when you said you were lost and couldn’t keep up! Hope it’s fixed for you, if not just post a message if you can and we will try and help.
