[/three_fourth]We at FF247 are delighted to announce we will again be running a league for the ever popular T20 Blast which kicks off this Friday, 15th May. The competition itself has been launched and looks as fun as ever with many of the rules and scoring the same as last season. The group Gameweeks start every Friday with the final gameweek commencing on Friday 24th July, the Quarter Final gameweek begins 12th August and the competition as a whole climaxes with the brilliant Finals Day (weather dependent!) on Saturday 29th August. In other words, our summer is sorted, our lack of FPL pain is eased with some good old cricket!
The link for the competition is as follows: t20blast.fantasy.ecb.co.uk/
If you played last season you will just need to log in again – if you didn’t then registration is easy and free!

League Codes
The code for the FF247 League code is 1402-284 and is called FF247. This is a classic league starting from Gameweek 1 through to Finals Day. Very easy, whoever has most points at the end wins!
Potty is running a H2H league, identical to the FPL one – each week you will play someone different in H2H format. The code is 1369-630 and the league is called Swing and Spin.
Our friend on twitter @FPL_Fly has a unique twist on this with his own league featuring an actual player! Daryl Mitchell stars for Worcestershire and will be participating in this league so if you want to pit your wits against someone who really should know the game inside out then it’s league code 5710-1060.
Playing the game

There are also double gameweeks, blank gameweeks, points hits for extra transfers, strategic captaincy options, the weekly decision on which player to leave on your bench and of course your wildcard!
The T20 Blast promises to be the best ever with many of the overseas stars of the recent World Cup coming over to play such as Chris Gayle, Brendan McCullum, Glenn Maxwell, James Faulkner, Kumar Sangakkara and Shahid “Boom Boom” Afridi. So sign up or sign in and get selecting your initial squad with an earlyy hint from us…. GW1 is a DGW for Essex, Gloucestershire, Surrey and Sussex and a blank gameweek for Somerset and Worcestershire.
Good luck!

Is this a gamble worth taking for next week? About 70 odd points behind in my mini league (Unless Giroud and Sanchez do the business for me today) and the 2 above me have Haz and will almost definitely play him! – No point hits involved in this. Thoughts?
Hatter, a gamble is a gamble – therefore it’s worth will only ne known after the event! But you have to give it a go mate – no point dying wondering!
Hatters
I answered on the previous thread. Check there matey.
Cheers all. Can’t decide on captain choice lol. Giroud or Sanchez. Giroud has the potential to get a massive score if he decides to be a bit more clinical but Sanchez on his day can be on fire! Also what’s the chances on Haz or Dace being rested or subbed early?
That was meant to say ‘Dave’

No love for Kun then after yesterday?
Unfortunately not, gotta go for my biggest chance of a big points haul and DGW has the biggest opportunity. The 2 above me don’t have Sanchez or Giroud (yet) and one of them has Ozil so doubt he’ll get Sanchez. So maybe Alexis is the best shout?

It’s not for everyone I agree. But there’s no doubting that the man could score in one game what others couldn’t manage in two.
In your case though, it sounds like Alexis may be the right call.
Morning everyone,
If anyone wants to play Fantasy T20 cricket then this is for you – all very self expanatory and bit of summer banter!
Cookie,
Can you slag people on here off without taking part? 😉
I’m sure you’ll find a way, Gritter 😉
Cookie,
I know nothing about cricket mate so slagging people off for having a go and I’d be on thin ice. 😉
GP don’t you dare be talking bad about us cricket loving folk. Some of us love our sports to take all day to conclude. 😉
oi GP, you really should’ve dealt with that thin ice by now; – Get some of your special salty grit on it…
Morning all , Madhatter this is worth the gamble although I would Cap Sanchez good luck
Looking forward to a bit of T20 over the summer, hopefully I can do a little better than last year
Morning Kop what a great score looks as if your in the 100 club already well done mate
Cheers Silver. It was/is just one of those GWs when everything went my way
Didn’t you guys learn from the last cricket tournament? It nearly brought this site to its knees. (…go under, liquidation… there wasn’t any option that avoided double-entendre so sod it).
Thanks for this Cookie. As someone who doesn’t really follow cricket I loved this comp last season and actually starting watching the games on a Friday! Just do me a favour and remind me on Thursday
It’s good fun Init and just once a week will seem like a breeze after the World Cup!!
