Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 14 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8GW14 is live! No lunch time kick-off this week, so you can get a bite in peace before your team starts failing you. We have five 3pm games to get us started. In a lowly anticipated clash, Villa takes on Watford, we also see the Luka crazies expecting a big haul at Bournemouth. In other action, the Pardew derby takes place when his old worn out ex wife Newcastle pays a visit to his new prettier way tighter fitting new wife in Palace. The best team money can buy City tangle with the best team Southampton can sell before next season. We also are privileged to witness Sunderland take on Stoke in the last of the 3pm games. We finish our Saturday fixtures off with a team that scores for fun in Leicester against a team that’s no fun in Manchester United.

Sunday sees the remaining fixtures. Spurs get their turn to kick Chelsea’s arse. That is followed by a battle for the West when Ham and Brom do battle. In the last two fixtures of the week, Liverpool welcome in the Swans and Norwich look to pull a shocker and not lose by five goals to Arsenal.

Saturday in full…

Aston Villa v Watford 3pm

Bournemouth v Everton 3pm

Crystal Palace v Newcastle 3pm

Man City v Southampton 3pm

Sunderland v Stoke 3pm

Leicester v Man Utd. 5:30pm

Sunday sees four fixtures…

Spurs v Chelsea 12pm

West Ham v West Brom 2:05pm

Liverpool v Swansea 4:15pm

Norwich v Arsenal 4:15pm

Anyone else watching the Klitschko v Fury fight tonight? Set to kick off in about 15 mins once Rod Stewart gets done warming up the crowd.

      NIN says:

Evening Red. Yep, just put the fight on myself, hopefully it’s a good one!

      • RedVT says:

Hey NIN, good to see ya man. We haven’t been on the boards at the same time lately it seems. How are things going with you? I was actually thinking of you when I posted this, ha! laugh

Looking forward to them finally getting in the ring after all the build up and the issues with gloves, mats, hand wraps, etc. Just get down to it boys!

        • NIN says:

Yeah mate, i’ve been working a lot too so haven’t been on as much. Well, one of them is in the ring now a least! Enjoy the fight!

        • RedVT says:

Thanks NIN, you too mate! smile

        • NIN says:

It’s good that he got the decision, i had a feeling there may be fuckery involved but it didn’t happen thankfully. He did deserve it.

        • Raziel says:

Aaah, figured he was English but he has Irish roots? So you support him? Congrats if so. Been hearing shit about Klitschko for years. First or second fight I’ve seen him in. First was against that Brit that beat a giant? Anyway, he won that fight with ease because of size difference. From what I’ve seen tonight his skill set looked terrible. Left jab his main weapon versus smaller opposition. Anyway, your man won fair by a big margin. Can barely call that shit fighting though.

Lol, between him and Connor McGregor… Who you think is the bigger arse?

Connor has more entertaining fights though. Zomg, United is more entertaining. Hahaha.

        • NIN says:

Nah, nationality doesn’t really come into it. Besides, he’s English and i’m not. Just a fight fan who loves a good upset! It wasn’t pretty but he won by a long long way. The judges were lenient to Klitschko i thought. I had it 10-1-1.

Hi Red, not forking out for it on PPV but I’m about to see if it’s on the radio somewhere. I’ve met this Tyson chap as he used to live round here and frequented one of our local Indians. The blokes a loudmouth tool, hoping he gets sparked out!

Anyone sticking with Aguero? Sold him after the 5 goals and not getting him back any time soon. Another glassman like Sturridge who I would never buy.

      RedVT says:

Hey Kruz, I have the funds to get Aguero but I can’t see myself dropping Vardy, Lukaku, or Ighalo while they’re scoring goals and playing 90 minutes a piece. As soon as one of them falls off or Aguero looks 100% fit then I’ll have to rethink things. It’s scary watching City play when you don’t have Aguero and lots of other do though. Not sure how long I want to subject myself to that! laugh

      • inittowinit says:

I can empathise with that 100%. I was in the car when when it began today and was genuinely dreading it whenever they said ‘goal at City’… It felt almost inevitable but in the end didn’t transpire. Trouble with him is you just know / feel that if one of those early goals goes to him he will end up with 2 or 3 and a ton of points. Swansea at home in GW16 feels like one of those weeks already.

        • RedVT says:

Yeah, I was looking at Swansea in GW16 as a good time to get Aguero too Init. Luckily I held onto KDB and Kolarov so I have good City cover at the moment. But it’s certainly no fun watching Aguero play when he’s not in your FPL team!! Not sure who I’d drop though if they keep doing well and scoring goals, Vardy was cheap and produces, Ighalo was cheap and produces, and Lukaku is scoring points and has a sweet schedule for a bit. Guess that’s a good problem to have though!

        • inittowinit says:

Yep, difficult to justify moving any of those out. Guessing you are betwixt and between now though with a fair chunk of cash sat there doing nothing. I don’t have the cash spare so I’d have to raise it but can’t really see me selling KdB or Sanchez anytime soon. Guess you either bite the bullet or invest elsewhere soon enough. Gradually beefing up the squad ahead of ghe Christmas schedule may not be the worst move as an alternative to getting him. I’d maybe plan a day out with no internet connection for 16 though!

        • RedVT says:

Yep, I’ve got 4.4 just sitting in the bank Init. DDG in goal, 4 premium (in price anyway) defenders, and Sanchez & KDB in midfield. There are so many inexpensive players doing well this season that it’s possible to put a decent side together without spending heaps of money. I think that’s partly why we’re seeing so many people with selection headaches benching Ighalo, etc and then getting burned. It’s because they have so much money they don’t know what to do with it so they buy a more expensive 5th midfielder and then have to figure out who to play.

I really like your idea of beefing up the squad for the Christmas period. I’m sure I’ll get Aguero at some point, but if it looks like I’m holding my own without him that would be nice for the inevitable injuries and players being rested. Right now my bench is pretty crap, lol.

Holy shit. So this is HW boxing, my … the level is dreadful. Pathetic. Dear oh dear. Figured MMA was out of its prime but even MMA HW fights are more entertaining than this shit.

Turned off MOTD to watch the fight. People were talking about it. What is this shit? It looks terrible. Mayweather fights boring but at least he has speed and good movement. This … what was this I watched? This reminds me of Giant Silva. HAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

Did Ighalo really get an assist for that massively deflected shot? No wonder he’s racking up the points with luck like that!

Big thanks to Pancho and NIN who talked me out of benching KDB. Cheers guys
