Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 14 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8GW14 is live! No lunch time kick-off this week, so you can get a bite in peace before your team starts failing you. We have five 3pm games to get us started. In a lowly anticipated clash, Villa takes on Watford, we also see the Luka crazies expecting a big haul at Bournemouth. In other action, the Pardew derby takes place when his old worn out ex wife Newcastle pays a visit to his new prettier way tighter fitting new wife in Palace. The best team money can buy City tangle with the best team Southampton can sell before next season. We also are privileged to witness Sunderland take on Stoke in the last of the 3pm games. We finish our Saturday fixtures off with a team that scores for fun in Leicester against a team that’s no fun in Manchester United.

Sunday sees the remaining fixtures. Spurs get their turn to kick Chelsea’s arse. That is followed by a battle for the West when Ham and Brom do battle. In the last two fixtures of the week, Liverpool welcome in the Swans and Norwich look to pull a shocker and not lose by five goals to Arsenal.

Saturday in full…

Aston Villa v Watford 3pm

Bournemouth v Everton 3pm

Crystal Palace v Newcastle 3pm

Man City v Southampton 3pm

Sunderland v Stoke 3pm

Leicester v Man Utd. 5:30pm

Sunday sees four fixtures…

Spurs v Chelsea 12pm

West Ham v West Brom 2:05pm

Liverpool v Swansea 4:15pm

Norwich v Arsenal 4:15pm

  1. Thoughts on trades, have one free transfer but I have limited ideas of what to do.
Only thought is Smith – Moreno but Smith scored this week so not sure if I should keep him.
    Other thoughts, greatly appreciated.

    Harry 13 (Hammer)

    • Looks fine. Bit of a rotation headache if Sanchez is fit but defence is fine.

Tip for next time, you’ll get more responses if you show your current selection page and crop the image.

  2. Opinions please guys! So what I envisaged to be a poor week actually turned out to be a very good week for me. Shame about Sanchez my captain getting injured but he still amanaged an assist before he hobbled off. So a few issues with my team, I’m worried if Courtois comes straight in I have no playing GK. Also I’m waiting to hear on Sanchez’s injury but he will surely be out a few weeks. What do you think? Took a hit last week for Mane to Barkley which worked out so may do both.

    • All depends on Sanchez really, I think it’ll be at least 2 weeks so I’d bring in Ozil. Even if Sanchez plays there’s every chance of Ozil outscoring him.

Wait to hear confirmation from Jose that he is not in a position to confirm, take from that what you will and go for it. De Gea still looks a good shout.

      • I’ll bring in Lloris if I move Begovic on.

    • Begovic > Cech would be a decent transfer.

Sanchez > Ozil is very straightforward if he is out for more than 1 GW.

  3. Need help here guys, esp if Sanchez drops even more, need some team value intact.

    Gomes*
    Cedric Bellerin Rojo*
    Sanchez* Mahrez Ozil KDB
    Vardy Kane Lukaku

    Myhill, Simpson, Soare, Hoolahan

Sanchez->Coutinho? He seems to be declared fit for this GW

    • Coutinho has a midweek game so wait for that at least.

      • Klopp has already said Coutinho will play against Southampton ! So with some match practice he will be sharp for gw

        • Unless his injury gets worse in midweek.

        • He didn’t have major injury, I am 100% sure Aguero and Coutinho will start next gw, Sanchez is a major worry though

  4. Morning all thinking off dropping Mahrez did I really say that & putting Eriksen in they have a really good set of fixtures & are playing well , would that be a bad move ?

    • Not a bad move if you dont have Kane.

    • Even doubling up on Spurs wont hurt.

    • Certainly worth considering. I don’t think you can justify double Leicester with the upcoming fixtures.

And the risk of Vardy on pens reduces the appeal of Mahrez.

  5. I’m thinking of Silva to replace Sanchez, but this article makes Hazard (as a punt!) tempting. Any thoughts?

    • Chelsea have certainly improved in defence but I am not still sure about there attack !

    • @SwissChocks, behind the scenes some of us are feeling punty and considering his upcoming fixtures his name has been thrown around. Remains to be seen how many of us pull the trigger, if any. But he is being talked up as a differential.

      • Who’d have thought in previous seasons that the word differential would be used about Hazard?

  6. Well, 68 points feels like a decent return from the week- Moreno was a great shout, thanks The B! And Bolasie came good after blanking the week before.

Sanchez is the man to move on next I think- Andre Ayew is hanging onto my team by his fingertips! Anyone waiting for news or have we all pulled the trigger? I don’t have Oezil so am tempted for the straight Arsenal switch, though this chat of Hazard is intriguing- could be a shrewd pick!
