Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 18 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW18 is almost live! WAKE UP! No, seriously WAKE UP! You have 15 minutes to get your ass in gear! This is possibly the most missed deadline of the season, for obvious reasons! Anyway, whether you do wake up and find both us and the deadline in time then we hope you had a great Christmas but if you don’t, and wake up mid afternoon in a panic, then we still hope you had a great Christmas, but #FPL commiserations! Boxing Day is unique in that it has all 10 games in one day so it can be a bit hectic but the points all still count the same. Stoke (0 – 0) Man Utd kicks us off at 12.45pm, followed by an ’80’s style’ seven 3pm games and then we ease into the evening with Newcastle hosting Everton at 5.30pm and finish off your Boxing Day football bonanza (aka relaxing in front of the telly with the family, you’re not kidding us!) as Southampton host Arsenal at 7.45pm.
The important news is that the deadline for GW18 is at 11.45am on Saturday 26th December

I brought in Alli too Raz. He should have went up in price last night according to FPL Stats but it looks like there were no risers. I think I remember something similar happening last year, and thought maybe the suits at FPL headquarters took the night off for Christmas and there were no price changes. But EBC or someone said they had players drop, so I guess there was activity.

Same to you mate. Had to broaden the squad for the Xmas period. Normally I’d have gone with Wally, but I will get Wally for GW19, in for Hazard. Loads of games coming on, so it’s wise to have a somewhat stronger mid and bench. Though I hate the idea of picking a 4th mid… next couple of games.
Yeah, I did the exact same thing by bringing in Alli to strengthen my squad and cover any surprises. I’m also planning on getting an Arsenal mid for the next GW for Deulofeu, although an Arsenal defender in for Kolarov could be a good move too since he’s likely to get rotated a more now that Clichy is back.
Yeah, I think Kola will start today or next game. I hope today, to be honest but I think next game.
Anyway, I will get Wally in for Hazard, the game is in 2 days. A lot can happen today though. And shite, literally everybody capped someone else than me, in my mini-league.

He’s the next one to go, unless their occurs an injury to another mid or someone. Haz won’t start today but it’s likely he will start in 2 days. If for some weird reason Ozil is rested, I wanted backup players.
Seems all my freaking mini-league rivals capped someone else. KdB, Ozil, Mahrez and Lukaku. What a fucking shite day it will be.

Just brought Aguero in for Kane and captained him, let’s hope for some luck!
Kun will get 60-70 minutes. In all honesty, everything Kun does, I hope Kane does better today. 😉

Smalling will come on for Kola, most likely. Looks a lot like my opponent (he's ranked 66k, freaking arse). He kept Lukaku though and benched Ighalo.
You know your cup opponent will freakin kill you, pull out your kidney and eat it for the lulz when he can afford to have Aguero and Smalling on bench, with a first class starting 11.

United fans are sort of hypocrites. Only this season they were talking about the poor parking the bus football tactics from Mourinho, now they want him. Loads of them are really Gloryhunters. Talking about the football being bad right now, well look at Mourinho and Chelsea years back, and I also think City played very boring defensive football when Nigel de Jong was there.
Anyway, you know you have a shite team if Fellaini is in the starting line-up. Disaster.

Dont completely agree with that. When the season started, the realistic target of fans was to get Top 4 position the way City started, and currently United is in 5th and can still achieve that target, but the fans are not just enjoying the game LvG is encouraging, or promoting.
Remember the times when United was down a goal, and came back with 3 goals? Me neither, because the last time that happened was maybe in 2008.
Not completely hypocrites either. ManUtd fans have always given a stick to Jose for parking the bus and being defensive, and when LvG is doing that, they are giving him similar treatment. “We want to attack!” But yeah, United fans are just tired of getting mediocre managers. They need a winner and only Jose is that kind of manager available with that mentality at the moment.
They are hypocrites, they want this one replaced by someone they have always given a hard time for playing parking the bus football. I hope Mouirnho goes to United, to be honest, because I want him in the EPL. But hypocrites they are, if they want him. Mourinho didn’t even manage to play attacking football with Real Madrid, while he had the best freaking players in the world.
Also, I have known these LvG antics for too long now, I grew tiresome of them. When he wins, it’s funny, sometimes. I enjoy the pressers more than the freaking games. :p
Why do managers have to be so weird?
Anyway, back in the day he used to play good offensive football, went wrong after the WC. Remember Bayern reaching the CL final? They conceded a lot of goals but they also were very good attacking wise with Robben and Ribery. After he took on the Dutch squad last summer, he sort of killed his own philosophy. Now it’s the human being that is central. ODD!
