Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 18 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8GW18 is almost live! WAKE UP! No, seriously WAKE UP! You have 15 minutes to get your ass in gear! This is possibly the most missed deadline of the season, for obvious reasons! Anyway, whether you do wake up and find both us and the deadline in time then we hope you had a great Christmas but if you don’t, and wake up mid afternoon in a panic, then we still hope you had a great Christmas, but #FPL commiserations! Boxing Day is unique in that it has all 10 games in one day so it can be a bit hectic but the points all still count the same. Stoke (0 – 0) Man Utd kicks us off at 12.45pm, followed by an ’80’s style’ seven 3pm games and then we ease into the evening with Newcastle hosting Everton at 5.30pm and finish off your Boxing Day football bonanza (aka relaxing in front of the telly with the family, you’re not kidding us!) as Southampton host Arsenal at 7.45pm.

The important news is that the deadline for GW18 is at 11.45am on Saturday 26th December

The fixture list in full…

  1. Need help with this team.
    Have 2ft and 4 m itb

    • Ezekial

I reckon you should use one transfer to change a keeper – either DDG to Butland or McCarthy to Hennessey and save the other FT. I would also start Vardy with Sagna on the bench.

  2. Views on Vardy to Ighalo??Already have mahrez

    • constantine

It may be a good move – Ighalo looks a goal machine playing in a very successful partnership in a team having a brilliant season. If you didn’t have Mahrez I wouldn’t probably recommend it. With Mahrez on penalties as well, I reckon you could get away with that move.

    • Bad timing due to Watfords upcoming fixtures…

    • That’s what I’ll probably do this GW. Kinda want Deeney as a differential instead but hard to see him outscoring Ighalo…

  3. Good morning everyone.

I got green arrows yesterday! That’s good for me on recent form!

  4. Got drunk last night, and checked the Arsenal score. Did Arsenal really get spanked that bad? Wow!

Any thoughts on this team? Got 2 FTs and 4.1M itb.

  5. Morning all. Hope u all had good xmas.
I got 2 ft 4.6 in the bank
Need to get rid of naughton any ideas?

    • No need to look any further than Rangel.

Cheap, decent attacking potential, getting tighter at the back.

Only risk is a new manager coming in amd going back to Naughton.

  6. Suggest me a GK to have with Lloris.I have nonplaying McCarthy in the bench. Although want to play Lloris for most of the times, want someone on the bench who is not dead.

    • Whoever rotates best out of Rudd (3.9), Elliot 4.0) & Hennessey (4.1).

Hennessey has best CS potential imo but not sure how he rotates with Lloris.

      • Rudd Villa (H) Southampton (H) Stoke (A) Bournemouth (A) Liverpool (H) Spurs (H) Villa (A)
Elliot West Brom (A) Arsenal (A) Man Utd (H) West Ham (H) Watford (A) Everton (A) West Brom (H)
        Hennessey Swansea (H) Chelsea (H) Villa (A) Man City (A) Spurs (H) Bournemouth (H) Swansea (A)
        Lloris Watford (A) Everton (A) Leicester (H) Sunderland (H) Palace (A) Norwich (A) Watford (H)

    • West Brom, Norwich, Southampton, Leicester, Palace and Swansea look to have the best fixtures from a defensive perspective that also have cheap goalies.

    • Abhirup

      Hennessey is safest I think.
