  1. How is the tie broken between the cup players?

    • Used to be goals scored but not sure if it still is

      • Evening everyone.

        Abhirup

Firstly, it’s the most goals scored that particular week
        THEN fewest goals conceded
If they are the same after these two, a virtual coin toss takes place.

    • 1. Goals scored
      2. Fewest conceded
      3. Coin toss

      • Evening NiN

Checked that at the same time then eh? smile

        How are you pal?

        • No i remembered. All is good, mate’s wedding is tomorrow so that should be a good one.

How are you mate and how did your lot get on today? 53 here with De Bruyne, Mahrez, Yaya (C) and Vardy to go. Not bad.

        • NiN

I’m having a beer tonight as I begin standby with the work tomorrow so no fun ahead mate. Lovely time of year to get married I’ve always thought. Hope you have a cracking time.

I’m on 26 with Aguero (C), Silva, Mahrez, Vardy and Moreno to come.

Ighalo and Romelu are continually twisting the knife. smile

        • Yeah it should be a great day, cheers.

There’s plenty of potential left there anyway with Aguero as capo. I hope it’s the Yaya show though 😉

Ighalo is an annoyance, for sure. Just keeps scoring. Luka is a must have i think, even at the inflated price.

        • Getting married? Congratulations Sir

    • Having Monreal instead of Ballerin is a pain. Only Coutinho can save me tomorrow. Cup opponent played WC this GW. Bad luck.

  2. Why are loads of people selling Vardy? Is it the right time to sell now and get the most profit on him now? It’s now the second half of the season so team value isn’t a big deal right?

    • Eagle,

I think people are now thinking the Leicester bubble is burst. Which I’m not convinced yet it is.

    • If team value matters then I’m buggered!

Judge when to sell on points potential, based on your opinion, not price. If you think Leicester will kick on then leave him be. I sold him 2 gameweeks ago but it was for Aguero…

Vardy has Bournemouth next so, assuming he’s back fit, it would be strange to sell him now I think.

      • James – Im keeping Vardy. Not bothered by the price myself. His next game at home vs BOU is a good fixture so i’m keeping. Just trying to figure out the logic in people selling now. If you sold him for Aguero then it’s a bit more justifiable.

    • Eagle, I think people are selling him because they don’t think he can keep up his scoring pace. Plus he didn’t score the last two, so people are jumping off and probably grabbing one of Ighalo/Kun/Giroud for him. Not bad replacements tbh.
Personally I think he’ll come off the boil and only score 8 more this season. Still great returns for the price, but people are always chasing the next hat trick. I say stick with him and expect 5-10 pts/GW.

    • Injury scare, tough fixtures and a lot of very good alternatives. Ighalo, Lukaku, Kane, Aguero, Vardy all producing.

At the moment I’ve got Vardy, Lukaku & Aguero. Kane will be back in from GW21 but undecided who’ll be ditched atm.

      • EBC – I have your same front 3. Should have kept Kane a few more weeks before getting Kun who went straight to the bench! I hope Kun pays us back tomorrow.

  3. Quite happy with 64 points and Mahrez – KDB – Vardy – Moreno to play. Kinda hoping Vardy and Moreno don’t play as I have Deluofeu (6) and Evans (7) in line to auto-sub. Would win me my Cup matchup and my head to head in Potty’s Predictions, which is the most important part of my season!!! smile

  4. Woohoo! Should be thru to the 3rd round of the cup if Moreno and Coutinho and muster 2 points or more between them. On to Wembley!

    • Me too SAF! I’m up by 12 and he’s got: Mahrez – KDB(c) – Kolo
      I’ve got Mahrez – KDB – Vardy – Moreno
Barring Kolo and KDB both going nuts I should take it. A Vardy goal is an 8 point swing for me so that would be sweet!

  5. People reckon Kosc will be back in for the Newcastle game? What with a clean sheet and Gabriel scoring today.

    • DIdn’t I have the Ozil/Wally/Kos dicussion with you yesterday? I advised Ozil to someone, forgot whom. Wait no, it was Duthers I think.

  6. Thoughts on bringing Zouma in?
Or will he sit on the bench when Cahill is back? Thought he did well today and Guus should improve Chelsea’s defense

    • Azpi / Ivan if you have the cash seem much more atteactive at this point.

    • I don’t know wtf to do. >.< Olsson injured. It's like bad luck follows me around. ZOMG, just took a look at Cookies team, dude is jinxed. HAHA! His defense, Butland 1 point, Kos didn't play, Bertrand 0 points and Coleman 0 points. HAHA! He got the cap choice right though, this time. ^^

      • Williams! Third consecutive clean sheet with 3 bps. Swansea are struggling for goals but are also very efective on frustraiting others to get them. Even if you don’t fancy him against ManUtd they have two home games after that against week opposition.

        • Yup, main problem there is that with Olsson out I already have to field players versus tough competition. :'(

        • Raz – Evans then?

        • Might opt him, yeah. Tnx man. ^_^

      • Well my three defenders Baines and Kos didn’t play and Nyom got 23 Minutes. smile
