Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 19 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW19 is live! After a Boxing Day bonanza of 10 games in a day we are back to some sort of normality as GW19 takes takes place over three days beginning with five 3pm’ers today, followed by an odd grouping of three games at 5.30pm. The game-week continues tomorrow evening at 7.45pm as Leicester host Man City and concludes on Wednesday as Sunderland host Liverpool, again at 7.45pm. It’s Monday today by the way, just for those that may have ‘lost track’!
The important news is that the deadline for GW19 is 2pm on Monday 28th December

Ah, with Mahrez, Vardy and KDB to go, you could be in for a good points haul given the circumstances. I’m currently on 66 with Moreno, Mahrez, Vardy and KDB to go. Captained Ozil too, so without meaning to gloat I’m pretty happy. The only downer so far is playing Alderweireld ahead of Williams which cost me eight points. Of course, if Moreno randomly doesn’t play, that’ll be sorted anyway.
What are you thinking of doing transfer wise? I’m looking at my defence and thinking it’s finally time to ship out Targett to give my squad more depth. Darmian is looking tempting – his fixtures rotate quite well with my other defenders.
Swirls, I’ve just made a transfer – selling Coleman for Ward. My other options were Rangel or Williams or funnily enough, Darmian!! I’ve been thinking Ward for a while, have gone elsewhere everytime and it’s cost me, so for me he was a no brainer.
Great scoring this week mate, let’s hope our 3 stooges go radio rental points wise tonight and then Moreno doesn’t show up tomorrow!!
Fingers crossed, matey! Yeah, the Palace defence / keeper does also appeal to me. In my efforts of creating more depth in the squad, I’m looking at either Hennessey, Adrian or Boruc to rotate with Cech. That won’t be until the next GW, though. Defence first, unless anything untoward happens in the mean time!
Swirls, Darmian is a pretty good option for you I think mate.

Just can’t seem to get my cappo right this season!! Currently on 54 (-4) with Kun KDB Mahrez and Moreno left to play, fingers crossed Kun does the business tonight!!

Mitro, looks fine to me mate – the only one I’d be concerned about would be Alderweireld. But can’t always have a tasty fixture so just save the transfer there mate – though obviously we know you won’t!!

True, but that’s the same for everyone who’s capo doesn’t work. Surely Ozil again this week? Mr Consistent? Though I guess Mahrez is a good option too.
What has killed you is your late silly moves, if you don’t mind me saying so – I’m only being blunt with you cos I have done the same – the difference is you had a decent squad in the first place mate and didn’t have the discipline to let it score well for you!
I’ll give you two excellent examples of FPL disciplinarians – Kop and Init – I give them grief for being “boring” but it’s how to do well in this game. They have the discipline to leave things alone, make the “boring, sensible” transfer. I don’t.
They will argue they’re not having a great season, but that is more to do with it being a strange season. Traditionally they’re both very consistent.
Of course there are many more example, I’ve just picked out these two.

Two names for you watchlist for possible Walcott replacements Mitro after this next gameweek – the return of Payet and Arnautovic.
Payet is already on my radar, I assume he will come off the bench this weekend?
I would think that is the best scenario yeah – will see what Bilic says at the end of the week. I’ll personally just sit and wait and see what happens this weekend – as we’ve seen with Kun, there is little point in buying any of these players first week back.

Tough to pick between Toby & the 2 benched defenders. Bennett at least has home advantage.
Pretty happy with my team this week but still slightly annoyed I benched Deulofeu for the first time in weeks and he actually did something.
Still I think I might sell Deulofeu this week to either Arnautovic or Ramsey?

I was also looking at my defence for the next few weeks and they all have difficult fixtures coming up, I think its GW21 or 22 where they all have tough fixtures should I sell Nyom aswell so I can start building a nicer rotation of defenders?
Watford’s fixtures aren’t that bad mate and he’s a decent 5th defender. However you could look at Rangel, cheap as chips and now no.1 full back. Alder, Bellerin and Soaure I would look at at being season keepers to be honest with you. Every now and then they may not have nice fixtures but there are not many better defences out there right now as Arsenal and Spurs.
Ye I agree with you about Alder, Bellerin and Souare. It was mainly Dawson and Nyom I was looking at West Brom just aren’t the Pulis defence he usually has.
Also do you mean Rangel of Swansea? Or is there someone else you mean?

Yeah Angel Rangel, Swansea – 4.1mln, can’t go wrong as and when you want to play him.
If Rangel is nailed on now why didn’t he play yesterday? Also I haven’t really been keeping up with Swansea’s defence this year what changed to make him no.1?
Swansea made 8 changes yesterday. Loads of reserves in.
They’ve had 3 clean sheets in a roe since Curtis took over and have brought back Rangel & Britton to ‘get back to the Swansea way’. Think they want good honest grafters to get them out of their pickle.
Rangel was very good last GW. Of course, the risk is that a new manager comes in and changes things but at 4.1 it’s a risk worth taking.

Ah right Cheers EBC and Cook looks like I be bringing in Rangel for Dawson too. I think it’ll be a great bargain and a gamble might be something to just make this season a little more interesting
Matt, Williams has 14 bonus this year, 9 in the last 3. He is 4.8m.
Naughton got bonuses yesterday. Curtis may have a decision on his hands.

In theory , the fact Naughton , who played the Rangel position yesterday got bonuses, would suggest he played well. Then for me it’s not a guarantee that Rangel comes back in so would prefer Williams.
They do play united next too
That’s a good point! I’m not too stressed about them playing United though.
If you can afford him and have no other need for the cash then Williams is the way to go but as a 5th defender Rangel is a good punt.
