Hi, am I crazy thinking about replacing Lukaku with Kun and KDB to arnautovic? Or will it be like the very foolish mistake I made this week Kolorov to Koscielny ? What an idiot!!! Not a disaster week though 68 with Coutinho still to get a hat trick. TIA

I have Aguero but it’s not going great so far. Nice thinking but I think those moves do indeed sound a little crazy; hasty for sure. Lukaku’s currently undroppable (though monitor his output as tough fixtures lay ahead) and KdB is bound go pop up with another 15-16 points at home sometime soon.

I wouldn’t be doing those Joanne. Coutinho to Arnie if you desperately want him but I’d leave Kun for now.

Joanne – I would probably do the arnie move, I have Kun and I regret bringing him in!

I second Init on that one.
Kun for Luke would be ridiculous considering Lukaku has blanked only once in 9 gameweeks and Kun has practically blanked all season. Barring the obvious, of course.
KDB has a couple of home games on the horizon so would keep him for explosive potential.
Arnautovic to replace Coutinho would make more sense as it’d free up some cash to get rid of Mr Taylor and to strengthen your keeper situation. (Possibility of Myhill losing his spot when Foster is fit again)

Well damn! He almost never produces away from home, but still, you’ve gotta get KdB on the pitch… maybe I’m just being spiteful / optimistic but Ighalo stands out as the main candidate to give way. He’s in incredible from though. Probably just one goal or assist in him against City mind you? It’s up to you but I’d play 3-5-2 here.

Kolarov may well be rotated and, if Ighalo scores, it’d be a double whammy if you played him. I’d make him 1st sub at least however; after this gameweek I expect West Ham to score so Moreno can move to 3rd on the bench.

Hope that helps. Your squad’s too strong aha!

Thanks for the advice guys. I’ve been getting my transfers right all season so thats why I’ve gotten a lot of cash to spend, however I’m messing up on captaincies nearly every week which has hurt my overall rank.. I’m gonna have to really think hard on who to start between ighalo and KDB. Also, isn’t ozil gonna get rested?

I’m currently set up like this. Any problems you see? Any players stand out as in need of improvement?

Pancho team looks good to go Another tough GW for Cap picks thk I’m going with Ozil

      • Pancho says:

Thx Silvers. Yeah, tough one indeed. I’m tempted to stick with Kane as Everton have been leaking goals. It may be my team loyalty at play there though :/
It’ll be a tough one between Mahrez-Wally-Ozil-Kane for me.

Not much to suggest without a crystal ball!
I’ve a personal preference on Vardy – Ighalo and Deulofeu – Arnautovic
I jumped ship on both those guys recently and both paid early dividends. I figure that you already have the leading points scorers for Everton and Leicester, so why not do the same and grab the point leaders for Watford and Stoke. Both history and form suggest the respective team points will still flow towards these 2 players.
Plus, since his goal streak came to a halt, Vardy is no longer on penalties and also seems less likely to haul double figures compared to Ighalo.
With Deulofeu, although I see Everton as more of an attacking threat than Stoke, Arnautovic has a much larger portion of Stokes smaller attacking pie.
