Welcome to our FF247 Sports Quiz, which will run from January 2014 through to the end of 2014. As you can see, the quiz has been split up into months – and each question is relevant to that particular month.
Please either email contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk with Quiz as the subject with your answers or just post them below and we will sort them out. You will need to supply 31 answers – 1 per question and then all your answers added up into a grand total, which will be used to determine the overall winner.
There will also be a monthly prize, which will be won by the person who comes closest to the right total answer for the questions for that month only.

Hey guys….
Trying to Suss out my next cup opponent …
I can only go back 3 GW looking at is history…?
I’m trying to figure wether or not im playing a ghost team..
Usually you can guess with the amount of transfers…this guy has none & still got WC
Reason I’m still not sure is he has a shit hot team… Either he lucked out at the start of the season or he’s still playing….
Question .?
If a player only does FT does that still count as a transfer made in transfer history..?
Bigpopz – You’re opponent only created that team recently,GW17 to be precise, all the info is there,it’s an okay team, you do what you have to do to get the best possible score this week and forget about him,i always have a look to see what i’m up against but never let it influence your decisions, keep your GW scores good and the Cup/H2H comps will look after themselves,if you get knocked out then so be it,no biggie.
Bigpopz – that’s because he started in GW 17 – clearly with the intention of qualifying for, and then progressing in, the cup – which is a shame, because your about to knock him out
He hasn’t touched in since, so it’s technically a ghost team, but it’s been made recently of course, so isn’t as bad as most ghost teams you’ll find
NIN ..& …Jamesimmo..
Ref cup opponent confusion..!!
All makes sense now ..
Do people actually create a team just to enter the cup knockout…that’s not really fair..!
They get to pick up all the top in form players…while we after slog it out all season..!!
.mmm bit fishy that…!
Anyway not overly bothered about some random cherry picked team in the cup..!
My main prority are you guys , FPL points, & of course the Banterbury Qualfication league….that’s all that matters…!!
Cheers Jimbo & Nin…!!!
Hey guys
Marshall (Boruc)
Mert Coleman Gabbidon (Clyne Chester)
Yaya Cabaye Hazard Walcott (Ravel)
Suarez Rooney Adebayor
0.4m &1 ft
Options
1. Boruc to go
2.Ravel to go (seems a bit pointless, just concermed re injury doubt)
3. Any suggestions?
I might be 137th (someone pinch me please!!) in the world at the mo, but opinions are still welcomed…..honestly 😉
B-Bash – Outrageous rank well done!! Marshall is the only dodgy one this week that i can see,in your situation i think i’d drop Boruc so option A,the rest of your squad is fine.
Nin,
Cheers mate. Completely surreal at the moment. I do know we’re only halfway through so long way to go, but still feels brilliant!
On team, you’ve confirmed my gut feeling. Marshall needs cover.
B-Bash – I know the feeling mate haha, with the help of this community i managed to get up as high as 247th early on(highest ever rank by miles),came tumbling down though so be sure to stay on your toes mate, you’ll be surprised how quickly it can turn around..to be there at this stage though means a lot more, keep it calm and ask advice on here before making transfers, even if you’re confident your move is right, ask anyway,i regret just ‘doing my own thing’ when i got high up,and it quickly fell apart.Well done again,it’s good to see and i hope you can keep it up and push for the win!!
B-Bash – wow, congratulations – you’re in the 0.004th percentile of all teams!
If I can still do maths, given my brains died over these holidays, that is 😉
Option 1 for me by the way, so you can bench Marshall definitely.
Appreciate comments guys!!
Thanks
Congrats Bash.
The only issue seems the keeper here, the rest of the team is really good and might help you retain the position, if not improve it.
Fight the weak links for now in the starting 11. Since Boruc’s return is still unknown, id choose 1.
Im sure you are more than capable of finding a good keeper with that kind of money yourself. 😉
Good luck.
Outstanding B-B.
Well played. And right still be seeking advice. Your only as good as your last game.
Can only echo NIN’s thoughts on everything. Good squad, keeps need addressing, and dont get complacent. No reason why you cant maintain that form. Nice to have you posting on here too. Keep us appraised as you go mate….
The very best of luck into the new year….
B-Bash – crazy ranking, mate !
Ok – I ll be a bit more cruel on you 😉 …
1) Marshall is the obvious priority for this GW – that’s sorted and agreed by all…
2) Long term – I’d look to improve Ravel to another 5th mid (pls check form/schedule etc) …
3) Last (but not least) – Ade ?!? his good form (if we can call it like that) – won’t last long !
— Be sure to keep an eye on him and swap him instantly for an inform player when you have the chance !

:satansmoking:
Reports coming out that Utd are lining up a £50 million bid for Barkley in transfer window!!!! :cuckoo:
peakydave* – seems too outrageous to be true..i bloody hope so anyway!!!!
I’d think there are better 50 million investments!?!?!?
While ur here Nin Dzeko????? Stick or twist????
peaky – Dzeko eh…..hmmm,he could be a solid differential until Aguero is back,i’d probably give it another game and see what happens,if he plays then it’s likely he’ll be in until the main man is back.If i’m not mistaken init brought him in for GW19 and captained him,it would be interesting to see what his plans for him are..was it a 1 week wonder? Or is he keeping him..he knows his shit.
have to log off for a bit now, happy tinkering lads and lasses, later’s.
Said almost from the off this boy is the real deal…..he’s got the lot and is good as I have seen hit the scene for many seasons…..put him in a top top side and watch him rule!1. However would you pay that inflated sum for ‘potential’….def not. But even now £25m wouldnt be outlandish for the player he will, I have no doubt, turn out to be…
