Welcome to our FF247 Sports Quiz, which will run from January 2014 through to the end of 2014. As you can see, the quiz has been split up into months – and each question is relevant to that particular month.

You will need to supply 31 answers – 1 per question and then all your answers added up into a grand total, which will be used to determine the overall winner.
There will also be a monthly prize, which will be won by the person who comes closest to the right total answer for the questions for that month only.

Happy New Year from us all at Fantasy Football 247!
Just realised Arsenal will Play Spurs on Sunday, will Wenger play Podolski against Cardiff and rest Giroud or Podolski is just not ready to play as a starter? :cuckoo:
Most Arsenal forums have Podolski in the in the predicted lineups.
Although Podolski has missed crucial period of Arsenal and has not contributed to a beautiful run, i still think he is more than capable of replacing Giroud. With absence of Ozil and Ramsey, i think Podolski adds to creativity of the team, if nothing else.
Rumours are going round that he will be rested against Cardiff!!
This is so confusing lol! Yea I agree with you B, Giroud must be rested at some point
Krul

Lot of injured players ….5 of them….gambling on Morrison to play….will use WC as soon….how is my team?any suggestions….. T
Kunal
Im afraid that the team might not be able to bring solid points. The defense faces tough fixtures, other than Krul and Coleman, which means you get only partial benefit from it.
The mids are also questionable, as absence of Walcott is bit of a worry there.
Should I takeaway hit
Really tempting to just make my transfer now, log off, and come back New Year’s – but I can just picture an injury cropping up at the last minute!
Krul, Marshall
Vlaar, Koscielny, Coleman, Turner, Chester
Cabaye, Walcott, Hazard, Yaya Toure, Ward-Prowse
Lukaku, Rooney, Suarez
0.1 in the bank.
What change i should make to my team?
Thanks
I would probably save the FT, if you havent used it already. You can bench Turner, Chest and Ward Prowse.
Vlaar is expected to be back against Sunderland, and should play, as he has been training, so you have solid 3 defenders at the back.
Good team.
I haven’t used my FT yet…
Hi Guys,
Could I get some feedback on my team please, I think its Solid enough but Im not sure who to get in/change or what to do when I can my WC is available, the only stuck on move I can think of now is Jags to Distin and maybe Ramsey to Lalana, even though i would lose 0.9 between the two on selling them!
So any advice is appreciated happy 2014
Heres my team http://postimg.org/image/3t7mp2pm1/
Is a hit necessary in my situation?
Marshall (tough fixture)
Coleman – Dawson (tough fixture) – Olsson
Ozil – Walcott – Hazard – Lucas
Suarez – Lukaku – Remy
Bench: McGregor – Chester – Collins – Silva
Since i have 3 weak links in my team, should i do:
Dawson > Kosc
Ozil > Nolan
Or am i showing too little faith in Dawson here?
B, if I were you, I’d do the Özil —–> Nolan move, but avoid a hit for a defender like that, as Dawson as good fixtures afterwards does he not?
I know he’s unlikely to keep a CS, but I don’t think he’ll he hammered…
Yeah, and I dont really expect Nolan to give returns immediately, now that he has had 2 fantastic GWs already. Might not recover the hit with those 2 transfers.
The B
Considering that you have 3 players guaranteed not to play, it wouldn’t be wise to transfer out Dawson who’ll most likely play. Ozil should be replaced with either Nolan, Cabaye or Lallana. Collins could be replaced with Gabbidon. It’s not necessary to take a hit, unless you’re absolutely convinved that Palace will keep a CS.
Thanks Tekno.
Leaning more towards Nolan because of his form and the upcoming 3 consecutive smooth fixtures.
Not too much in favor of Lallana as he has Chelsea and Arsenal is next 4 GWs. And Remy keeps me covered with NewCastle, so no need for Cabaye.
I hope this calculation actually leads to Nolan coming out as top scorer in coming 3/4 weeks in the budget midfield bracket.
Dawson – Kosc – and keep him for the rest of the season, mate !
