Ok chaps here it is…Bigpopz squad for gw20

    Defensive dilema…your help needed

    Speroni / Davis
    Coleman / Merts / Chester / Moxey / B.Turner
    Yaya / Hazard / Wally / Delph / (Silva)
    Suarez / Rooney / Lukaku

      Who does Moxey play for?

It’s the two I need from this lot I’m struggling with..

      Moxey / Chester / B.Turner / Delph

      Drexl says:

Well clearly Coleman & Merts are a shoe in.
      Chester and Davis benched.
Q is do you double up on Palace. Personally thats a yes from me, considering your other options.

      redmecca says:

Coleman/Mert/ I’d put Chester before Burner.

Cardiff will have a load of problems against Arsenal but I think Hull will give Liverpool a game.

      • redmecca says:

Now you have clarified, I agree with Drexl, I’d put Moxey in before Chester.

        • Bigpopz says:

          Cheers Red…

What’s your team looking like…got any transfers tips going into next GW ?

        • Bigpopz says:

          Red…

Just checked out your team…you got some tinkering to do..!

Silva / Ɩzil ..what you got planned..?

        • redmecca says:

It’s linked mate, I already made my change Oezil>Walcott

I’m thinking of playing my Wildcard immediately though and could do with someone to have a look at my proposed squad.

It kind of dawned on me yesterday, as a relative newbie, how much of an impact “team value” has – if it’s not much above Ā£100m, a load of changes won’t really make that much difference.

        • Bigpopz says:

          Red…

Can’t wait to use WC eh…?

I’m a tinkerman & I’ll find it difficult to hold on to mine for a month…but my plan is to do just that….?

Its hard to choose there. Moxey should be out of equation due to his recent elimination from starting 11. He could come on as a sub and just give a point.
Flip a coin between Chester/Turner. And yes, Speroni is preferred at the back.

A good team, im rolling in Lucas too this week, lets see which one of our unlucky masters scores more. laugh Haha

    walcott or suarez as captain?

  4. 46

guys i am in a bit of a situation here, i have 5 players who are looking unlikely to play next match what do i do, who do i play???? :

    Team:
    ruddy/mannone
    flanagan*/dawson/collins*/distin/baker
    walcott/morrison*/yaya/silva*/sterling
    rooney*/lukaku/suarez

who do i play and what transfers do i do.(Ā£1.2 in bank and 1ft)

    • 46.1
      redmecca says:

Take a 4 point hit – two transfers will give you 11 outfield players won’t it?

    • 46.2
      redmecca says:

I’d go Rooney > Negredo and Morrison > Bannan – sorted!

      • rooney looks to be the likeist to play, so y transfer him, i was thinking more like morrison to milner and collins to alcarez, is doubling up on everton risky? and milner may not start but i dont need him to start because my mid will be back after nextweek, good plan ?

        • Bigpopz says:

          Fdms …

          Not a good plan..

Let me get this straight, your about to take a hit on a player who you said May not play…& that’s ok with you..right..?

If you take a hit on Morrison to Milner ..& Milner don’t play..( probably won’t anyway) ..why not just leave Morrison in then & save yourself 4 points..?

          Have I got that right..
Not havin a go or anything…just don’t add up to me..!

        • Bigpopz says:

          Just to add..

I think if your gonna take a hit ….make sure it’s for someone who’s guaranteed to play & ideally gonna make up the 4 points you’ve invested in them..!

          Good luck

        • the thing is i just need a mid around 5-6mil to play good for this week,in other words the best option there is milner seemed a gd option considering silva isnt playing iam sure milner will start, iam not looking to start all my mid every week so i will sub him till i use my jan wc, if there are better mids then i will consider but for now milly looks to me to be the best option.

      Bigpopz says:

      Fdms..

Don’t drop Rooney ..he’ll be back for sure..!

You got 3 defenders who’ll play Daws,Dis,Baker…so no worries at the back..

      Concentrate on that midfield..

      You got options..
      1. Lose Silva > Hazard
      2. Lose Morrison > Barkley / Januzaj / Shelvey….plenty of 5-6m mids to pick….only for 1 GW till jan WC clearout..?

    • 46.4
      The B says:

I have Collins too, and im hearing that he might make a surprise return to starting 11 against Fulham.

    • 46.5
      Drexl says:

not as bad as it looks..to me…rooney good chance of starting…keep silva (no question here) and simply swap out Morrison who is erratic both in starts and points….and just get a cheap mid in depending on you Ā£’s…barkley has 3 good fixtures up next and is starting almost all games now…mutch and whittingham both returning points per pound, tho difficult run, or one of the nrowich guys (great fixtures tho poor form)…but major surgery not needed here…max 2 trfs

    • 46.6

FDMS, silva to haz + away you go, 11 starters.

    A good replacement for terry?

  6. 48
    The B says:

Guys looking to get in Everton’s back-line, and have failed to get on the ColeWagon, should look out for Alcaraz.

In absence of Jag (probably a month), you can get Alcaraz for 4.3M. A decent attacking defender who might not match Coleman’s potential of scoring, but might still bring in decent points.

    • 48.1

considering it myself, do you think its wise to double up on evetons def, i have distin already maybe alcarez aswell? everton havent done well at the back lately but have nice fixtures ,u think the punt could pay off till jan wc?

      • The B says:

        FDMS

I consider doubling up on defence as blasphemy, as i dont get it. Its a high risk high return approach, so i try diversifying.
The next three games are against Stoke, Norwich and WB. Doubling up might work out, but Everton is without a CS in the last 5 games.
