HL – 2 reasons for that and I’m actually happy with it would you believe!!! – I pretty much knew he wasn’t starting so obviously that made the decision easier. Was possibly a wrong decision with hindsight (hello cptHINDSIGHT! ) but he’s not exactly prolific so coming on and scoring 2 is exceptional for him. Why I’m happy with it is that I went Ramsay instead and my ML rival capped Ramsay so Monday would have been a nightmare to be honest if he had him as cap and I didn’t even own him, but now I do. Probably how he felt today as I capped Rooney and he didn’t have him at all. So I’ve half covered his capo and had a successful one that he didn’t own. Happy days! And a 700 place rise in rank to boot so I’m happy as!

Plus, imho you’ve gained some advantage with Rooney as Cpt / while he did not own him at all ; as I don’t think Ramsey can match his 26pts this week…
Even if he scores or assists one as you have him, too – it won’t hurt that bad…
As I said – now, from this perspective, think you ve made the right move…
Anyway – r u bringing Yaya or Mata for the DGW ? Probably Yaya, yes ?
HL, plan was Yaya but in all honesty I’ll probably take an additional hit and just get both but that will depend on budget I guess. Not looked at that properly yet. Happy with hits on a double GW as they are only -2 in reality assuming you replace a non-DGW’er with someone who has one, if you get my drift.

Evra should be settled I would guess! But if you are looking for defensive coverage De Gea could be a cheaper option? Massively preparing for the last DGW?

That’s true. And Manone had good upcoming fixtures as well. As HL says below Evra is not coming up that much it seems but out of the back 4 he should be the most secured of a starting spot.

Evra’s not going forward as much as he used to as Giggs went back to playing with wingers…
Which limits his attacking potential (today’s game was a proof) , so if u wanna a Utd defence, I’d pick DDG, too…

Last 2 gameweeks. Sort of sucked this year and ruined it all at the start. Might as well go out with a bang.
Not in favour of it. I think keeping Azpi and Erik is the best choice for now.
Coleman>Zabs or Evra will be a good move though.

Hmmm. There is a risk Giggs will appointed manager for next season if he does too well. Unsure if he’s up for that job yet. Also has to spend +100mil, he needs Fergies help, that’s for sure.
Dont know why FPL website is not working for me. But i think Im on 39 points after taking a -4 point hit, with Mannone, Azpi, Zabs, AJ, Ramsey and Aguero to play.
Wonder what Mou will do with the Chelsea team. What is this I read this week? Czech said they didn’t play to win the EPL, they were focussed on the CL from the start? So you put billions in a freaking club and you play not to win a trophy? WTF is wrong with these people. That’s Mourinho I hear in the back, it’s just crazy. Usually I support English teams in Europe but I can’t when I see how Mourinho manages it, sighs.
True. Mou just makes Football political and diplomatic. I know that mind games are a part of every game, but there should be a football element in it as well.

He may one of the very best managers around (at his age) , but his EGO has brought him/will bring him same/if not more misery than success – if he continues like this !
Worst part HL, it has brought him success and trophies. It gives him enough ammo to ridicule Wenger for not winning anything. Against all odds he won the CL with Port and Inter. Those are great achievements. Those teams didn’t have the material to play proper attacking football. Chelsea however does. Anyway, everything always went in favor of Mourinho. I wonder what will happen if he doesn’t win anything this season (please let it be so :P). Will give people like Wenger ammo against him.
Mourinho is fun for a while but after a while his mindgames starting to get annoying. Will be funny if Louis van Gaal comes to United, he’s his teacher, he made Mourinho. Lol, at Bayern Louis van Gaal once put down his trousers and showed his willy to the players. Don’t know with what purpose. He’s freaking insane. Again, insane but also a genius. He won the CL with Ajax (and literally all the prices he could win), almost won the treble with Bayern (a team that was in rebuilding process that first season), won La Liga twice with Barca and won the Dutch League with AZ (which is like the same as Everton winning the EPL). Anyway, like Mourinho he’s crazy but he doens’t know when to stop. Parts of me will laugh my ass off if he’s manager in England, the other part will be very ashamed (like I was when he was manager in Spain/Germany). I’m actually really depressed he’s bondscoach of the Netherlands, lol.
Raz – I’m following Mou from his time at Porto, too…and continued to follow him once he went to Italy & out of the EPL…it’s because I ve been following the EPL & the Calcio for a long time and it was very interesting for me to see how he will do at Inter…
Italian football is really more his style with more defensive play and mind-set & he knew when to go there, when Juve was on their knees (after calciopoli and in rebuilding stage) and Roma/Milan/Napoli were all good teams but were not a match for the “hungry for titles & full of money” OIL BARON – Morrati !!
He won his titles very easy and that CL game he won against Barsa :oogle: – well that was all just not football !!!
And that was the moment he became a very irritating person in my eyes !!!
He then went to Real and won what ?!?!
Mourinho’s tenure at Real Madrid has, overall, been a failure !! As per his standards !
I remember a lot games against Barsa / important games – in which players like Pepe were mentally trained by him to behave like mad dogs ! and the moment he poked Tito V. in the eye (God rests his soul ) – he was done in my eyes !!!
His behavior at press conferences is way out of line ; his ego is enormous and for me he is a prick !!!
I don’t care how much talent he has in him, but when Pool wins their 1st title in yrs in the same year he came back in EPL – it will give me double pleasure !!!

Congrats mate, every season you’re doing a bit better. This season a lot better actually. I just noticed Innits rankings, dude has been doing awesome from day 1. He’s got the magic touch. If all fails, just copy paste his team from now on.

Haha thanks Raz, probably the nicest thing anyones ever said to / about me on here! I’m still learning lessons too though and this season has been an eye-opener for sure. B-Bash and his early Wild Card has been one, usage of hits has been another. Seen some great tactical hits used when I’ve sat still hoping for the best when proactivity was required.
But please don’t copy and paste my team as it’s stressful as hell every season until about GW33 when I finally figure out what I’m doing!
