That game tells you why so many people don’t like Chelsea – they defended well so credit for that, but they were disgusting with their time-wasting. And that was obviously pre-planned. Really sorry for Gerrard because without that mistake it never looked like Chelsea wanted to score.
As a neutral (if you pushed me, I’d say I’m an Arsenal fan) I would love Liverpool to win the title, just for Gerrard – thoroughly deserves one, and this may be his last chance. Technically now it’s in City’s hands.

Any reason Bardsley was benched or was it just match fitness cos of the ban?
I’m wondering about Bardsley too MadHatter. Getting a cheapo DGW defender will be necessary if I’m gonna bring in Mata and Yaya. I might have to go with Brown if Bardsley isn’t nailed.
