Why are people ditching mata?????
I know he’s been poor lately, but at the end of the day he’s got a DGW this coming week. Seems a strange thing to do to me and a waste of a transfer. Plus he went down in price last night which really pissed me off as it messes up my plans for wk32 onwards!
Bet if he notches a goal and plays a blinder today those same people will be buying him back

Because Hammers, he is not being played in his favoured and best position, United are unpredictable to say the least, he’s not been massively involved enough in United attacks and United face a tricky game away at West Ham, where their record isn’t great and then home to City.
Plus he’s very expensive for what he is delivering – and most people are of the view that if they want United exposure it’s Rooney or RvP. There are so many alternatives options within his rough price bracket – and anyone who thinks Silva is overvalued at 9.1mln must think Mata is crazy value at 9.5mln or whatever he is now.
All that is on the evidence of his first few matches with United.

Completely agree with the majority if that cookie. Just figure that he has 2 games next week so if you’ve kept him this long what’s the point of replacing him when he has a slight advantage.
I’ve always worked on the theory of having as many DGW as possible so just seems strange to me to ditch him now.
But Having said that I will be selling him next week lol

I guess many have transferred him out for DGWers who they think offer more chance of better returns, the likes of Yaya, Silva, Nasri, Gerrard. And don’t forget many of these will have Hazard who they won’t want to sell so three expensive mids may be too much for them.
