    My Midfield For GW 31 – Gerrard,Hazard,Lallana,Mata

    • On the basis that Mata has a DGW, I’d take out Lallana – do, however, bear in mind how much you’ll be selling him for compared to how much it’d be to buy him in again if he does pick up.

    • I’d rather keep Lallana to be honest, even though United have a dgw. West Ham (a) and City (h) is rough for United these days, very rough indeed.

    • B. Dont like Nasri that much. A tortoise in FPL.

    After just 37 points, it’s my fourth consecutive week in a row of red arrows, my worst run all season. Managed go from a 100-point gap between me and second place to 58 points in this time, too – if I keep losing out at this rate I won’t win the league. Need some seriously good moves and luck – I’m hoping you guys can help with the former.

    So, my team is currently (* = DGW players):

    Ruddy, Mannone*
    Gabbidon, Azpilicueta, Bertrand, Collins*, M. Olsson
    Sissoko*, Hazard, Yaya Toure*, Lallana, Hazard*
    Aguero*, Suarez*, Sturridge*

    Obviously looking to get rid of Aguero and tempted to take a four-point hit and take out Gabbidon for DGW players, thus meaning I’ll have nine. Would love some advice on who to bring in, I’ve considered Lukaku and perhaps a cheap Newcastle or Hull defender (which’d leave me enough money in the bank to get Aguero again when he’s fit), or go for Lukaku and an expensive (but point scoring) defender like Coleman.

    Absolutely stumped. All thoughts are definitely welcome!

    • theswirly – Aguero&Azpi >> Lukaku&Baines springs to mind, sometime after the dgw you could then essentially upgrade your Chelsea defensive cover to Ivanovic/Terry and have money to play with too. I’m not even thinking about Aguero to be honest, he was so far off the pace recently, pretty shocking that they played him in that state really.

        • Nah mate, to be honest i rarely drink and pretty much never go to pubs or anything, i don’t enjoy it anymore.

        • Nin – rarely get out myself. 2 young kids.

      • That’s the exact same thing as I thought, to be honest – absolutely ridiculous they rushed Aguero back. I can’t see anything anywhere saying when he’ll be back and so I can only presume there’s no chance of him making either of the upcoming matches and who’s to say that, if he did, he’d be any good?!

        Liking your thoughts on the transfer ideas though NIN, cheers for that!

        • Precisely, being a bit rusty is one thing but Aguero was a shadow of himself, clearly still injured. I’ve got Lukaku & Bainesy in myself so here’s hoping ha.

    • I’m sorry I bought lukaku but u can’t overlook the DGW. Remy would have been nice if fit.
      Liverpool defence given the fixtures might warrant a look or west hams.

      • Cheers, Dreamers – I had a sneaky look at Flanagan. Do we know if he’s going to be a guaranteed starter, though? Already got Collins and so don’t want to double up like I’ve managed to do in my ‘wisdom’ with Norwich by having Ruddy and Martin Olsson.

    • Swirls, haz hasn’t got a dgw mate.

      • Like a wally, I’ve managed to put in Hazard twice. Mata should have been there instead of the one with the star!

    • Aguero > Carrol could work out really well if he performs. Is a good differential and should get you chasing down quick.

      And maybe Lallana>Gerrard/Silva to gain more from DGW.

      Wouldnt advice taking hits on defenders. They rarely payoff, unless it Coleman. 😉

    Brought Nasri in last week so don’t really want to waste a transfer taking him out.

Swirls, you should have planned your team better, theres enough in the articles + advice on the boards to help you, i think you are going to struggle this week mate, you could do with a wc, mannone has to go to anfield + wasn’t collins dropped at the weekend in favour of reid ? But hey ho, onward + upward as init will tell you, i’m sure advice will come your way. Good luck mate. :thumbup:
